Yeah, I should have reworded that. Sorry.

The point is that if he weren't from Monmouth, he probably would never see the light of day as a Cowboy.

His extension could be called the mistake. His injuries left him too unreliable.

I have been critical in the past. But I have agreed with every move ourFO has made. From not overpaying for an injury prone RB. To drafting/signing 3 first round talents. To locking up Cole and Dez. To taking a chance on a tone setting all pro DL And now trading a 7th for a RB more talented than any RB in this draft not named Gurley or Gordon. Kudos. I could not be happier with this offseason.

Well said man. I'm very happy we picked this kid up, but at the same time I'm ready to see Dunbar go. Don't see the need for him at this point.

CMike is not really a loss. They just re-signed their star RB and got a free replica in Rawls.

The get Rawls for 4 years vs 2 for Michael. A better choice, but not really cutting their losses.

What I was trying to imply is that the Seahawks invested a 2nd round pick on Michaels just two years ago and are already moving on from him. Imo, you would think, because of the high pick they used on Michaels, that they would of given him more time to develop.

Rawls is a HEAD case...and unreliable.

I agree. Michaels was actually 62nd pick and to given up only conditional 7th rounder is value folks. The only other spot I would like to see churning is McCray spot. I want ST who can actually play a defensive position.

I wish they would've kept scott over mcray

They really weren't sure about Lynch and paid a pretty heavy price for an insurance policy they ended up not needing.

I equate it to Escobar or Marty Bennett. If Witten went down they would be worth the 2nd round pick, but with Witten staying healthy they are just wasting time on the bench. A new situation can make all the difference.

Matt Jones and Ameer Abdullah might have something to say about that... among potential others.

Otherwise, I agree with your post.

Abdullah had the worst fumble rate in history for a college RB. That would not have been a good risk.

Our FO has shown that they are one of the top this offseason. This team is poised for a superbowl run, and I say it is long overdue!!! Lets get Romo Witten and the old men their ring!!!!

I don't know. That will all depend on how our defense does and whether or not Patmon and/or Jones can fill in for Scandrick. Hopefully this will finally be our year.

I'd love nothing more than to see the lights click for Michael and have him run it down Seattle's throat on the way to the Super Bowl.

Only time will tell but I'm certainly feeling better about our running game than before today minus the Dunbar situation.
