Our next 2 games could be wins

The Falcons and Saints defense can be exposed. They don't have near the talent that the Cardinals do.

We just need to come up with a good game plan that tailors to our strengths and keeps things simple. We can win both of these games.

He still is who he is. Now he has no Dez and IMOP a weaker running game. I hope we win every game. But I'm having a hard time convincing my self he can do it especially with out the other weapons.

We'll just have to wait and see. The defense has only allowed what amounts to 22 points in 2 games taking that 1 yard drive by the Giants out. It will take an all hands on deck approach, but I think they can win enough to have meaningful games left by the time Romo gets healthy.

Cardinals were a much better team than the Falcons. Falcons will be without Coleman and their defense isn't fantastic. We have a shot.

Yes, I forgot about Coleman won't be playing. Doesn't even the field on offense, but it helps. If we can stop the run game with 7, and have an extra guy to roll coverage on Jones and White. That helps.

Thank you. We know. I understand you don't like him, but some of us are trying to cling to every little bit of hope that we can. If you don't mind.

I don't mind. It has nothing to do weather I like him or not. Don't know him. I just can't fool myself. He is what he is and that's why the FO will try and talk an Orton out of retirement even after he stole money from Jerry like Randle and some underoos.

Any given Sunday, sure;

But we arent beating NE, Seattle. And I doubt we sweep Philly and NY.

We can beat NOs, Bucs, and maybe Philly or NY.

I think we lose to the Falcons. Although I think we can give them a game.

we need 3. The Weed needs to give us 3.

Has every one forgot Weedens start in Zona last season?

Exactly. He's filled in for Romo before and it went horribly. And let's not forget to mention that we have a much less dynamic running game for him to rely on this year and less weapons on the outside.

It's pretty silly for all this talk of going 500 or better while we wait for Romo to get back.

We're going to have the best defense we've had in years, so it isn't unreasonable to think we can win games forcing turnovers and without putting up a whole bunch of purely offensive points, IMO. Like what the Jets did to Indy tonight. They scored 20 but only needed 10.

I love the way our CB's have played so far, but Julio is a different animal from anything they faced this year. Yeah, even ODB. They need a safety shadowing over the top at all times.

Good news is that I think we can force ATL to be one-dimensional on offense because Freeman is not a good runner, and our run defense is amazing apparently.

Ryan will just throw it up to Julio in critical situations even when there are 2 guys on him,if we can limit his catches then we win this one.

I think I've finally come to the realization that this season is done, and I'm pretty sure next season is Romo's last. We had our chance last year. That was it.

The Falcons defense on paper is better than last year and so far they have been playing better as well. I think if anything the Falcons will be the harder of the 2 games of course depending on what is going on with Brees.

Kind of amazing that people are talking themselves into Weeden. If they win with him it's going to take a herculean effort from everyone else. Remember how hard it was for the Cowboys to beat the Bucs with Brad Johnson? That's what it will take.

It's still Wedden.

I heard that Linehan is the first coordinator he's had for more than two yrs since 7th grade, and he was taking all the snaps on Wed last year so he has a good understanding of Linehan's scheme and his timing with the WR's has to have gotten better so there's hope

one game at a time, Atlanta is a good team and is 2-0 like dallas, we get them at home, so that is better than in their stadium as far as crowd noise goes.
I think it will be a close game either team could win.
I am thinking Atlanta might win it though as we had problems with big WR before.
One good thing is their best RB has broken rib so he is out.

Ok. Cool great post

He's probably right, Weeden can't move at all, Dallas can't rely on the run game. I see Weeden taking a lot of hits. 7 games is a long time, it would be naive to not get your third stringer up to speed ASAP.

Hope is good, but I like our defense even better, I am going to make a bold prediction that we win 2 out of 3 of the next 3 games. I base this on my believe that a great defense will always win games if the offense is average and does not turn the ball over. This means we only need to put up 17 points and the defense only allows a max of 14 points. Remember it is defense that wins championships. I am willing to test my theory.:omg::grin:

PS
New England also has a great defense and the offense is not average there fore the loss.
