John Fox as our DC. Need to aim a little higher for HC, IMO.

Give us a 'higher' name or two.

Higher within the NFL than a hc who took his team to a Bowl, is a HC who's won one, or more.

Or has a longer history of consistent winning.

Bill Bidwell is the worst owner in the NFL...

There's a reason the redbirds are vanquished to the desert...

Also a reason they're called the Crapinals.

The football Cardinals just plain stink, always have, always will.

You never know..... I never thought I would see the day the Bungles would even come close to being a good team again. They finally righted the ship it seems, other than all of the felons they have that is.

Hmmmm. Welp, I really don't want a college coach in here. I don't want a retread HC who's 150 years old in here either. I want someone who's currently a part of the NFL and who's talents are bursting at the seams yet remains unappreciated and is unjustly delegated to coordinator duties. Has unbelieveable multi-tasking abilities, attention to detail, schemes to player attributes, team orientated, outstanding motivational skills, smells talent 50 yards away and can adapt to the changing environment within the NFL.
Do you know who this is? I don't. I'd be willing to wager there's one we don't know of but he's around. I'm saying that if we start with talent levels of the Foxes as coordinators I want our HC to be that much better.

John Fox. Cower will take over in Carolina where him and his family just built a 3mil dollar home. Fox is a Parcells under study.

After seeing how the Kitties totally collasped, I think I will pass on Fox.

I just hope this late season collaspe has convinced Jerry to give zimmerman a one-way bus ticket. I dont think I could stomach Zimmy as head coach.

I would rather bring back Switzer before letting Zimmy take over.

I know he's a former Commander, but I like Russ Grimm. I also like Rivera in Chicago. Both those guys have the smash-mouth mentality this team needs.

Cowher built a house about 200 miles away from the Panthers Stadium, and its about 20-30 miles further to their practice facilities.

Not only that but the Panther would have to give up compensation for Cowher, so it doesnt seem very likely at all.

They have been crying about Henning in Charlotte for the past 2+ years. You bring him in and the Cowboys will immediately be looking for a replacement.

Robin Williams, that way Jerry can bribe the players into winning by promisng to fire him upon obtaining a Super Bowl trophy.

Nick Saban said he is absolutley not going to be the next Cowboys coach so I think it is pretty clear he will be.

EXACTLY RIGHT. Bottom line to me is Henning is only a reflection of the head coach. If Fox wanted Henning to be more "creative" he would be. Fox hasn't shown the ability to adapt to his tallent around him. No more Stephen Davis, and he still wants to run it up the gut on 3rd and 7. Worst 3rd down efficiency in the league because he is so conservative. Totally didn't use Key and Steve Smith correctly. Haven't had 2 winning season in a row. People on this board would be ready to jump of f the top of the tallest building with him as coach. Also, not sure who is the ultimate decission maker between Hurney and Fox on draft day, but their drafts have been horrible.

If Parcells retires after this year,I really believe that the Dallas Cowboys next head coach will be Wade Phillips, and I will tell you why.In 2005,after the cowboys had the big defensive draft to shift to a 3-4 defense,Jerry Jones said several times that they would be running the 3-4,not just now,but even after Bill was gone.Wade Phillips runs probably the best 3-4 defense in the NFL right now,and it is the defense here that has fallen apart.Plus Wade Phillips has NFL head coaching experience, which I think will mean something to Jones.I know that he may not be as popular as a Cowher,or a John Fox,but I think he fits what Jones may be looking for.As far as Cowher goes,I don't think he is coaching anywhere next year,it will cost too much to compensate pittsburgh.I believe 2 things could not make the Phillips thing happen, and that is if San Diego lays an egg in the playoffs, and Schottenheimer gets fired. Then I think Phillips will get the job there,or if Parcells comes back another year.

Russ Grimm is someone I would look at real hard. Its a gamble but he is tough enough not only to handle the players but JJ as well. And he is enough of a STAR that being HC would not bother him that much.

Wade Phillips?

Are you out of your mind?

Wade Phillips is a buffoon.

I cringed every time he was on TV when he coached the Bills.

He totally mucked up the quarterback situation in Buffalo and turned it into a circus.

The guy knows defense but allowing him to run the whole show would be a major mistake.

Wade Phillips makes Dave Campo look brilliant.

And who says we stay with the 3-4?

Quite frankly it looks like crap.

And it's apparent we don't have the personnel to run it properly.

The next head coach will be Paul Crewe and his assistant head coach will be Nate Scarboro. The equipment manager will be nicknamed Caretaker.

As long as it's the Burt Reynolds version of Paul Crewe and he leaves Unger at home.

Rex Ryan.

Get him.

Now.

He or his bro in OAK...they both have earned at least a look.
