The human pass interference machine! Maybe he would not interfere so much as FS. All in all, I'd rather get someone who is a ball hawk if we add anyone at FS.

If he can't make the Fins I'm not sure I want him back here. But I don't think they know what they are doing so I suppose it might not mean much they cut him.

He's probably a better FS than a CB. He doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling though.

He doesn't have the body for a FS. I don't think he would hold up. Unless you like your safeties to look like Merton Hanks.

Mario has a thicker neck than Hanks....

Seriously I think you are under estimating Mario's toughness.

Wow cbz you really like you some Mario Edwards huh? I wouldn't mind that situation at all though, I like someone back there who can pick off the occasional pass, and I do remember him making some picks.

Yes he was a pretty good player.......at this stage of his career FS just might be his position.

I don't necessarily disagree with you CBZ. Mario was a pretty steady, mid-level player. At FS two of his weaknesses could possibly be minimized. One is the pass interference since he normally wouldn't be running side by side with the receiver. The other is not knowing where the ball is. Since he would be seeing it from a downfield vantage point, he might have a better bead on the ball.

If that happened, I could deal with it. I always liked Mario.

Folks, instead of reliving the past, why not go after some new blood?

Jeremy LeSueur (of the Broncos) is only 25.
