Why is everyone focusing on the losing records of the teams we have played but not the Pat's? Both teams are steamrolling who ever lines up in front of them but their defense has kept points off the board. However our D is really stepping up and I believe the NYG game was more of an aberration then anything else.

I love Phillips philosophy, no excuses! The media should follow suit and not make excuses for our record. As BP says, you are what you are.

But I think the reasoning is that the Pats were the 2nd best team in the league last year. Everyone knows what to expect out of them.

Two of their opponents have played each other, so someone had to win the game. Otherwise, they'd probably be 3-13. And that's despite one of their opponents beating one of ours.

Two weeks ago I thought they'd whoop our ***. Today, I'm not so sure. It'll be a good close game.

Yet the media is actually entertaining the thought that the Pats can go undefeated this year and they have no weakness anywhere on the team.

I really did not see anything that made me think the Pats defense will be able to contain us.

On the flip side of the coin-I find it funny how the national sports media is still labeling the Eagles as "Super Bowl contenders", despite their woeful 1-3 record-they say things like, "They have injuries", "They made mental mistakes", etc, etc.

I think we should trade up for Percy Harvin, myself. Some would say he's kinda small, but he'll be hands down the best receiver in the nation.
