I really don't know where to start. I'm thrilled Romo and the O bailed them out. But geez guys, more crappy play from Roy, Ware, Henry and others. I thought Spencer and Raltliff graded out well.......that's IT. Newman better heal up, because we can't outscore everyone. Both sides of the ball arent going to be flawless every week. The defense had a bad outing, but be assured they will bounce back. Dont panic people, we won and it was the first week of the season. The defense will be fine. Getting Newman back will help alot.

Wade's gotta come up with something better than this defensively, I know we're missing guys, but that was a joke what we saw tonight...I can live ih a backup CB giving up tons of completions because he sux, but letting a 3rd team scrub RB gain almost 100 yds and almost never touching the QB stinks

A bunch of us were talking about this all week.

The Giants have weapons! We have a depleted secondary. Yes, Newman is one man, but he holds down one side of the field.

Our defense needs work....sure....but I think a lot of things will change when Newman gets back.

Wait ware had a great game he was the only one able to put pressure on he had more defended passes than Henry and not one big run came from his side

Funny it was Ware who got most the pressure on Eli when we where able to bring it

He still didn't make plays. Our defense didn't touch Eli for most of the game. And in the run game they were 5 yards down the field with average backs.

You can say our secondary sucks all you want but if they have to make every play it's not the secondary that's sucking. It's our front 7.

I am sure there will be changes in the roster this week. KFFL
reports that the Cowboys worked out a number of free agents
last Friday, so I am sure a couple of them will be signed asap.

When the D blitzes it looks like they are running into blockers ON PURPOSE. 3 times tonight I saw lanes open for a defender to get thru and the guy ran right into the blocker instead of avoiding him and squirting thru the lane. What the hell are the Boys doing on D?

Let me throw this out there.

Our offense didn't do our defense many favors.

I mean, we took no time off the clock. We scored so quickly, our defense had no time to really rest.

On the series where Romo threw the INT, I was screaming for us to run the ball to take at least two minutes off the clock.

Don't mistake me....we should score when we can....but we should've tried to run the ball some.

Ware and Ratliff were the only ones capable of generating any pressure on their own.

Roy Williams is just plain bad. He was awful at LOS and inaffective blitzing and even worse in coverage. Ive been a big fan of his but he was completely exposed by the Giants. He was out of position on all 3 of Burress' TD receptions.

The offensive line played great. I cant remember the last Giants game I watched that I couldnt remember Strahan's name being called once.

time to let hamlin have a great year then trade roy w for a 1st round pick...move hamlin to SS and start Watkins next year...roy is just too bad in coverage for us to keep him..he is terrible! just terrible! and really isnt an impact in the running game anymore...love the way hamlin plays though....
