Our rookies will benefit a great deal from a bye week.

The improvement for the rookies in the mental part of the game will be substantial from Cardinals to Eagles. I think that the defense will be much better against the Eagles than the first time!

I think your right caused Ware was quoted after Cards game about how tired he was. The rookies simply aren't used to playing so long (TC, preseason games & 8 NFL games) so hopefully the change in scheduling practices in this bye (even if they only will allow them to regenerate their bodies. I think the DLine will be okay cause the rotate but amconcerned about Ware & Petitit.

they will be hard pressed to exceed (or even meet) how well they played vs Philly a few weeks ago...

with the loss last night I expect we'll see a very desperate Philly team...their crowd will be into it bigtime...and other than parts of the San Diego game, we havent played a good game on the road yet

You are right about the mental part but not sure we could play a better game against the birds than we did the first time.........that one was almost perfect! :star:

Philly is ripe to be crushed. One more blowout and they're season is done. They'll start to question themselves and the coaches, and the TO thing will be more of a distraction.

Without a running game and without TO to stretch the field, the Eagles have no weapons.

They're one dimensional attack will be even easier to contain.

I'm not predicting an easy victory, but if we're to prove we're a playoff team, we HAVE to win this one.

I think that the Philly fans are about ready to turn on this team. We should be able to push them over the edge with a nice blowout :)

Theywill be desperate- 5 losses with 7 to play pretty much ends their season. That is why I was hoping they would win last night- so they would not be that desperate.
We SHOULD beat them- we are playing better and have the better team now. But this is the NFL and on any given day....

Finally Dallas got a bye week where it actually helps us, last couple of season the bye was so early in the season that it served little purpose for the team. This one allows us to get a 2nd wind before heading into 3 games in 11 days and get some bumps and bruises healed as well.

Theyre not gonna win, even if TO plays. last time we held him down, and we can do it again. way too much drama to focus and injuries etc cowboys will win and make it a good game.

Well, I think the reason the defense had a good stat game against Philly was because the offense was in sync. I'm not sure that our offense will do so well again the second time around, but the defense has been improving all year, and will play better as a defense than they did the first game.
