Teams we play that are different:

Dallas: Bengals, Rams, Bucs
Philly: Steelers, Cardinals, Saints
Wash: Browns, 49ers, Falcons
NYG: Ravens, Seahawks, Panthers

Dallas has 3 potential Superbowl contenders on their schedule. Meanwhile, Philly has 3 teams that may not even make the playoffs on their schedule. We could very well sweep the division this year but still struggle to win our division based on these 3 uncommon opponents. I could see a scenario where we go 0-3 against those teams and a team like Philly goes 3-0 against the teams listed.

Since when are Steelers, Cards and saints pushovers?

Steelers have no QB. Saints don't really either, Winston kinda sucks. And Cards could be good but Philly apparently gets them before Hopkins is eligible to play.

You could make the case they got the easiest three "different" games.

We could go 17-0 and I still would imagine this team capable of coming out flat and laying a turd in the playoffs lol

The reg season is a means to an end. Who you are shows up in Jan and you can’t hide behind stats, fat contracts, and “schemes”.

If you don’t have character, heart, fire, discipline, and a will to beat down the man in front of you and take his lunch money— you will be packing your bags early and often and heading to play golf while the contenders find a way to win

The games are "easier" but those aren't pushover franchises. And even without Hopkins cards are a threat. Yall trippin forreal. Was and NY have a better argument fir so called ease. Ravens gonna beat the dogish outta Washington

No one said they were pushovers. However, are you ready to guarantee they make the playoffs much less be contenders for a Superbowl. My point was that Dallas has 3 Superbowl contenders on their schedule compared to the Eagles having 3 teams that may not even make the playoffs.

Steelers - Who is their QB? Are they a lock to make the playoffs? No. Are they considered a Superbowl contender? Absolutely Not.
Saints - Which Jameis Winston shows up? Is he even healthy and ready to play? Are they a lock to make the playoffs? No. Are they considered a Superbowl contender? Absolutely Not.
Cardinals - Will they do their annual choke job to end the season? Are they a lock to make the playoffs? No. Are they considered a Superbowl contender? Absolutely Not.

Bucs, Bengals, and Rams are all considered Superbowl contenders.

If we can't beat them and can't compete with them then we aren't for real anyways.

Give us all the tough teams and stop looking for the easy road to the playoffs just to get bullied in the Wild Card game.

Agreed. Dallas doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs if they can't beat the good teams. Dallas needs to sweep the division again and take care of some of the good teams this year.

It just happened in the last 24 hours.

Actually, it began last year.

The Steelers had to receive the gift of all gifts to even make the playoffs last year (Jacksonville beating Indy). Then they get completely embarrassed in the 1st round against KC. I think KC scored TDs on 6 straight possessions. Then Big Ben retires and they don't have squat at QB. They will eventually be good again because they are a well run organization, but 2022 is not the year.

The Saints didn't even make the playoffs last year. Their coach quit in the offseason. No one knows if Jameis is going to be healthy for the season and if he is healthy you don't know which Jameis shows up. Will it be the 30 interception in 1 year Jameis or the one that was playing well at the beginning of last year when he had Payton still coaching him? Anyway, no one will be shocked if they miss the playoffs this year.

The Cardinals are just too inconsistent down the stretch. seem to start out with a bang and then flutter in the 2nd half of the season. They have a QB that is not happy with his contract and has made it known. 2020 they lost 6 out of the last 9 games and in 2021 lost 5 out of the last 6 games. Got blew out in the 1st round of the playoffs. Again, no one would be shocked if they missed the playoffs.

Like Bob Hayes stated in another post, it's hard to know at this point, who's good and who's bad...

What...don't deserve...come on.
If you win enough games to qualify for the playoffs, no matter what teams you beat and lose to. You deserve to be in the playoffs.

Not if Murray holds out..

When a team doesn't have a franchise caliber QB that is about the most important position needed to be competitive. Without that Dallas has no business in the postseason if we can't beat teams without a QB.

Steelers had a top 3 worst qb last year. Hard to imagine that position will be worse. Saints are a winning organization. Cards are cards. Yall make it seem like the 3 teams are Atlanta, Detroit and the Jets

Good point. I will agree with that statement. I was probably a little too harsh.

Show me where they were compared to the Jets, Atlanta, and Detroit in this thread. I merely stated that the Saints, Steelers, and Cardinals are not a lock to make the playoffs and none of the 3 are considered Superbowl contenders this year. Compare them to the Rams, Bucs, and Bengals are are all considered Superbowl contenders. You are reaching. Tell me which statement is false below:

Bengals are better than Steelers, Cardinals, and Saints
Rams are better than Steelers, Cardinals, and Saints
Bucs are better than Steelers, Cardinals, and Saints

Here is a schedule fact.
I went through our schedule a few weeks ago or so going back to 2000.

We finished at home 7 times in that span. And only 1 game, never 2 games at home. However we finish 2 games on the road quite a bit, or 2 of the last 3, 3 of the last 4 type stuff.

I have no doubt we will finish on the road at on the the NFCE teams.
But we should have the division wrapped up by that time. :D
