Our season is on the line today

This is a huge game for us to gain momentum this month. You can't go 1-3 in December playing poorly and hope the Eagle game will be our savior game to get in. That sets us up for failure. But a big win this week... we're back on track with confidence and momentum again. We could move down to #6 behind Green Bay if they win at end of business Sunday. I totally believe this is the game that makes ours destiny for this season. I'm putting it all the table and why I think somehow we will win. If not...it may be spiraling down once again.

Pretty much agree. A loss today means we'd probably have to win out to make the playoffs, GB and NYG both may finish 10-6, and both own tie breakers over us.

While anything is possible, if we lose today I think us winning out and going 11-5 is an EXTREME longshot. Honestly losing out might be a more likely scenario than winning out.

The part in bold shouldn't be overlooked. The so-called December swoons have happened against a bunch of quality opponents. Of course, if we beat San Diego today, they won't be considered quality by anyone anymore. But who cares? We really need this one. A loss won't end our season, but a win would make it so much easier going forward.

I agree. this is a huge huge huge game for us. if we lose, then we are behind a few teams, not to mention that mind games it will play with our team and then next week we have NO, a tough task to begin with and the possibility of starting december 0-3. ........that would really mess with the teams psche and all the wade will be fired stuff will begin and wade has to respond and.......
