The Giants:

Nicks - rookie, who is slow, has potential, but he won't provide much for 2 years

Steve Smith - nice #3

Mario Manningham - didn't do jack his rookie year, I don't see anything in him

Sinorice Moss - hasn't done anything since drafted like 3 or 4 years ago, not even on ST

Domink Hixon - good in spurts, I don't see him as a #2

Barden - rookie who is a big project, could be 3 years before he contributes

Skins

Moss - solid #1 in a WCO,

Randle El - more of a PR than a WR, #3

Thomas - did nothing last year, could develop, but has a bad attitude

Kelly - injuries will kill his career, I see nothing in him

Eagles

Jackson - #1 in a WCO, good receiver and PR

Maclin - rookie who will contribute on ST, Mizzou has a gimmick offense so he hasn't learned any NFL routes

Curtis - good #3

Brown - not impressed

Baskett - makes a few plays a year

'Boys

RW - has shown he can play in this league and be a #1

Austin - has potential to be a #2, hasn't been given a real chance to show it, has to get rid of the injury bug

Crayton - solid #3

Hurd - solid #4 and great ST player

Stanback - project who won't do anything this year

I think we have 4 solid WR for this offense. If you put these WR's on another team not named the Cowboys all these experts would say the same thing.

Boys
Eagles
Skins
Giants

this is just WR's, not counting TE's, where we completely dominate everyone in the division.

so you can honestly say the Giants and Skins have better WR's than we do, maybe the Eagles, but no way on the other two

I'm actually o.k. with our WRs - but we really need R Williams to come through.

If he does, between Witten, Crayton, Austin, Hurd, etc. we're fine.

I would say the skins definitely have a better receiver core, i dont think the other two do

I can honestly say that the Skins and Eagles have a lot of potential at WR. Personally, I think Moss is by far the best receiver in the division. Giants have some potential now too.

...and I can honestly say that we have questions at the position from the #1....all of the way down the depth chart.

The Skins have Moss and????

The Eagles have too many one dimensional receivers that all look and do the same thing.

Giants though, easily have the best. Hixon is great, Smith is great, Nicks has lots of potential and will get to compete with Manningham and Barden.

Last year far and away Giants, but no Burress and Toomer this time around, so it will be a challenge for Eli.

Still, we have RW... and... and... Crayton is solid. So I guess us and the Eagles are on par right now.

I think the Giants are further away from having a #1 than we are. Smith is no #1, Hixon, no. Nicks maybe, but he may also be a Charles Rogers, Mike Williams etc. he hasn't proved anything. Barden, he may be the same as Stanback, huge project

Hixon is "great"?

Please define great.

Funny, I agree on the Giants and Skins, with the Skins depending if Devin Thomas develops. (I don't think Kelly will.)

But the Eagles are way ahead of us. Jackson was a huge headache to cover last year, and unfortunately, I think Maclin will be really good.

But they still have McFlabb throwing to them.

The only comment I will make is that I really wanted Nicks.

I'll add it sucks royally when a player you like lands with a division rival.

It doesnt matter how our wr's compare to the rest. When We had T.O and RW we didnt do jack.

It's all about the QB.

1. MCNabb
2. Eli
3. Romo
4. ??? Skins???

Eli sure looked real good when he lost his #1 WR, now he doesn't have one. We'll see how he does.

You must of also felt good about our backup QB situation and special teams last year. I am a homer and I believe we have an average group compared to the rest of the NFL not sure where all this confidence is rooted.
Looked to me like the eagles and Giants got better at receiving, but I will wait and see.
