Over or Under: How many yards will Rico have against our great D?

But in an emotional aspect as you've seen several weeks with Micah, it's an emotional game, player is playing his former team, don't you think they'll give him the bulk of the carries or the chance to make him feel great so they can give him the game ball at the end of the game
As a coach, you must also weigh what each starter brings to the table and how well you expect each player to match up scheme-wise with the opponent. The choice cannot be based solely on emotion or potential emotion.

It is just me, but I think Carolina gives Hubbard the bulk of the carries if he starts. Dowdle has run for 100+ yards five times as a starter during his career, but so has Hubbard. And that is not counting Hubbard going over 150+ rushing yards in two overtime games last season.

Running over 206 in a game is a milestone. Any coach will take that into account factoring how well he thinks his running back will fare against his old team. The same goes for his running back's old team. They will (or should) be inspired about shutting down their old teammate. The coach must take that other emotional aspect into account as well.

I hear ya!!

He had a career game against the Dolphins ......... but had 12, 9, 30, and 32, the other 4 games .......... I am not worried about him.
In those other games he didn’t get many carries.

He runs hard and can make guys miss. If he gets 15-22 carries, he will be a serious challenge for this D.

The more important? is can we slow Carolina’s mediocre Offense down?

Can we hold them to 17 points or less?
I don’t think so, but that would show improvement.

Will it be over or Under 80 yards??? To be honest he may get that in the first half!!! Solid run, better than the was given credit for, it appears he isn't injured as he was often in his earlier years with us!!

Glad we got Williams I think they both go for big yards!! Please give your thoughts
Rico against this defense?
Could be another 200 yard day.

Thread title says we have a great D, but that's not true. Maybe you were being sarcastic. Rico will be limited to around 60 yards.

King obvious, it was clearly sarcasm for the super serious people on here that need to just lighten up!!!! Thanks for catching it joe!

The real question is many times this week his O-Line told him to shut his mouth! The only thing Rico did was fire up a Cowboy defensive team that plans on shutting this idiot down.

Breece Hall 14 113
Josh Jacobs 22 86
D'Andre Swift 13 33
Cameron Skattebo 11 45
Saquon Barkley 18 60

Definitely under. He talked too much for our defense not to be fired up to shut him down.

Over, and to add on, his backup rookie Etienne getting a few carries also, could really end up gashing us collectively.
That's my 2 headed monster fear.

Linebacker filling and tackling is key.
AGAIN.
Of which I have a very low confidence level.

Ugh
