Over the years which type of Cowboys game do you prefer to watch?

Do you like a good defensive games say 6-9 with a Cowboys win? Or, is it the 48-52 games where the offense comes out on top?


I must say i really enjoy a shutdown defensive effort...nothing better.

I like the games where we are blowing someone out and I can sit back and relax. Does not happen very often. lol
I have always leaned more towards the defensive side of the ball as you can tell by the name.

I like those games where the Cowboys dominate the opponent, mano y mano. Not about schemes, just physical domination. I like to watch opponents get broken, both physically and psychologically. For me, that can happen on either side of the ball.

i can apperciate that and as OP have said it sure don't happen often..lol However, like a good book...i like the excitement all the way to the end. With a Dallas win of-course...

Unfortunately the Cowboys also seem to sit back and relax when they have a big lead. They haven't been in that situation too many times this year although the 4th quarter of the Bears game was a reminder of how that can go....

True but when the shoe is on the other foot it is called garbage points, I was not thrilled how they finished the game but still felt the game was under control. Getting 1 onside kick is one thing getting another then another was asking too much for the Bears

I prefer games where they are up 35-7 in the third quarter; like Chicago last week.

An hour later I was literally pacing the room when the lead was cut to ten points, but you see my point.

I prefer a good defensive game anytime over a shootout.

Waiting 3 hours to see who gets the ball last to win doesn't excite me very much.

I like close tight games but I enjoy blowing out the Commanders, Stealers, Packers, and the 49ers.. I'm probably forgetting somebody...

I love to win by blowout because I want to run my mouth and antagonize opposing team fans.

I find close games more interesting, as long as we get the W. Blowouts bore me.
Unless it was the early 90s team, they stepped on your throat and danced in the blood.

Yeah I know, but giving up 250+ in the 4th to a 3-7 team is g-d awful. I'd like the Cowboys to develop more the mentality of stepping on the opponent's neck and keeping it there. As I said was not thrilled with the finish, guys played so well for most of the game then got a bit lazy once they got the big lead.

I am more of a "preemptive striker". I am known as "hey cowboy" to a lot of people here in New York.

Of those two choices 100% the defensive games. Shootouts just scare me....not that we can't win those shootouts. If I had my way of course we would blow everyone out....but the defensive battles are always my choice if it has to be one or the other.
