We finished 11-5. We broke the trend of struggling every December/January by winning our last 3 regular season games. We beat our biggest rival in a game to win the division and clinch the 3rd seed. We beat the same team a week later in the playoffs, ending that drought and making it 3-0 vs the hated Eagles this year. We did so winning those last two in dominant fashion. We closed the season with back to back shutouts, the first time in our franchise's history that we've ever done that. The defense improved by leaps and bounds as the season wore on. The offense broke a number of club records. Our QB had his best season ever.

Despite all that, we get these gems. Everyone of these things has been posted here and some multiple times in the last few weeks, and most of them since Sunday's loss:

QB- Romo is nothing more than average and we will never win anything with him. Time to find a replacement.

RB- Felix Jones was a wasted pick, we should have drafted ______. He sux on kick returns.

WR- Miles Austin has an amazing season, finishes at the top of the league in a number of key stats despite not starting till week 5. We should trade him for a first round pick or two.

WR- Patrick Crayton, gotta be replaced. Forget about how effective he is as a slot WR with great hands, gets open and makes first downs. Even finished 3rd in the league as a ount returner.

LT- Flozelle Adams is overrated and should be benched or out and out replaced, even though we witness our team's OL collapse w/o him at Minnesota.

TE- Martellus Bennett was a wasted pick, we should have traded him for whatever was offered.

TE- Jason Witten has lost steps, he cant stretch a defense, he doesnt make enough YAC. He cant block a DE.

NT- We need to draft one to replace Jay Ratliff, arguably the most dominant interior DL in the league, and even though he says he loves it at NT.

OLB- DeMarcus Ware, not as good as Anthony Spencer, disappears all the time. Every team can easily control him if they want.

CB- Terence Newman, he sux and we'd be lucky to get even a 7th rd pick for him.

CB- Mike Jenkins..."garbage" according to one genius poster

HC- Wade Phillips...wins 67% of his games here...wins a postseason game...coaches outstanding defense and has a knack for finding talent for the defense. Gotta let him go. We'll surely never win anything with him.

OC- Jason Garrett...anybody could surely do better than him...forget about th development of Romo or the records set offensively this yr, or in 2007.

Cowboys Stadium- too big...waste of money...Jones went overboard

Cowboys Owner/GM---yes he sux, doesnt know what he's doing, has to hire a GM, doesnt matter who...good players on this team are only here by luck, and we dont want to talk about those. Lets talk about the one that got away in 1995 etc etc

With so much suckness, I'm quite sure the 11-5 record is a mistake, the playoff win didnt happen and all those guys on our team going to the probowl were surely mistakes. Nope, this clearly is a 4-12 team that needs a major overhaul. Fortunately we have CZ experts to show us the way.

If we choose to keep Garrett, we deserve what we get. We blew a great opportunity when the Giants did the same thing and succeeded where we continue to fail.

All of our offensive coaches are not helping this team currently. Our second TE might become our third TE.

Our last draft wasnt stellar and we still have holes to fill on this team, and we still continue to ignore them.

We still have no GM. We still have no Defensive coordinator I dont care what anyone says I dont want Wade doing both.

Are we going to carry 3 qbs again while our kicking woes still suffer?

Do we keep the same old offensive line when Doug Free proves he can play?

When do we get our ball hawking safety?

Are 3 running backs needed when you barely have enough carries for 2? Will one accept a depth role or wait for injury to occur?

Will Romo go injury free again next season? Do we know what we have in McGee? Are we safe with Kitna?

We have more questions going into next year than we did this year and we still have not made much progress.

Lets tone it down on the stomping of the nay sayers when the only thing every team that isnt strong has going for it is parity and hoping to play strong for 4 games because all 16 is to tough on teams.

I guess you are referring to the Giants dumping their defensive coordinator, when their team just had one of the worst years in their team's history. To insinuate that we're in the same boat offensively as they were defensively is beyond ignorant IMO.

All of our offensive coaches are not helping this team currently. Our second TE might become our third TE.

Again this is utter b/s. Somebody coaches these guys up. I've yet to ever see a quality QB post good numbers every year who wasnt getting quality coaching. Our OL melted down vs Minny, but performed well enough for most of this yr (and past years) for us to have some success offensively, and this yr was a record setting yr in terms of yards. What about the guy who coaches Miles Austin,Patrick Crayton and Kevin Ogletree? What about our RB's coach?

Our last draft wasnt stellar and we still have holes to fill on this team, and we still continue to ignore them.

One yr is not enough time to grade a draft, and never has been. And every team, even the Super Bowl winner will have holes to fill.

We still have no GM.

We do have one, its just not the person some of you want. He deserves massive criticism for what happened from 1994-2002, but since then has done a very good job. Again, this roster isnt stocked with good players solely from luck.

We still have no Defensive coordinator I dont care what anyone says I dont want Wade doing both.

Why? What the hell difference does it make? Plenty of coaches call their own plays, including alot of really good ones. Wade's a damn good defensive coordinator, why shouldnt he rely on his own expertise.

Are we going to carry 3 qbs again while our kicking woes still suffer?

I have no idea what you are talking about here.

Do we keep the same old offensive line when Doug Free proves he can play?

Guess we'll find out in TC next yr.

When do we get our ball hawking safety?

Very fair question, we need two IMO.

Are 3 running backs needed when you barely have enough carries for 2? Will one accept a depth role or wait for injury to occur?

So yor saying it was a bad idea to draft Felix Jones and Tashard Choice? Having 3 good RB's is NOT a problem.

Will Romo go injury free again next season? Do we know what we have in McGee? Are we safe with Kitna?

Again, dont see this as a neagtive. Kitna can play, especially if its only for a limited amount of games. You usually dont find out much about rookie QB's chosen on the 2nd day for a yr or two.

We have more questions going into next year than we did this year and we still have not made much progress.

Absolutely laughable.

I agree with all his points, but Garrett. I don't see what the big deal is about him. We are middle of the pack in points.

So had we score 20-30 more pts for the season, and finished 10th or so, would that have made you happy? 30 more pts would have put as at 393, and 30 more pts is not even 2pts a game.

It's one season. We missed alot of field goals, we had a few untimely turnovers. We finished at the bottom of the league in turnovers forced, which meant more often than not we had long fields to play on.

Our offense cost us games. I don't remember blaming any losses on the defense.

This is true, but more to the point and Dblair will do what others do (i pick what i want to discuss and argue and name call on you) Our offense was making big plays only to be called back due to penalty, all of which were not bogus.

Our offensive line is not going to remain healthy all season long and when one goes down, the line crumbles and I have seen other teams insert their guys and remain solid.

Having 3 solid RB's is going to be a problem because someone is going to get irked. Its okay for the fans because they are not in that situation, believe me Choice doesnt deserve to be a third string RB in this league.

Again and I quote "BENNETT" Thank you John Philips this training camp you are going to prove something to the coaches and fans.

Heres another point and probable problem come TC, where is Flozells replacement. We screamed when Emmitt retired we needed his replacement, well offensive linemen need time to develop and no one is trusting McQuinstan to get it done.

How about our WR corp? What if Miles Austin is a flash in the pan? What if we dont get that number 1 WR to draw double coverage? Who is comfortable to place a lot on Ogletree? Does Patrick Crayton really scare teams?

This is all before I get on defense, which we still need our ball hawking safetys and yet another CB, because I think everyone is ready to say goodbye to Newman and we dont know if Ball is ready to relieve if a CB goes down for a long stretch? Do you?

Does Carpenter really deserve to remain on the team? We have to find out about Hatcher, Bowen and Octavien plus the sorted that came from our last draft. Do they even get a chance?

Will Brewster even make the team if we have to draft a stud O line guy in the first round? can Kyle Kosier give us another year? Got another word for you PROCTOR. Will his blackmail hold up another year?

...had we had better performance out of the FG kicker we would have had close to the 20 points you are looking for.

No, the guy he's referring to said it today. He said no matter what he does now, he will always dislike him for that one play.

I thought people overreacted when it happened, but to still hold a grudge about it is moronic.

If we have to keep everything the same, I don't mind as long as we spend most of our efforts on the Defensive Line.

Scoring 20 more points is not the point. Scoring commensurate with yards gained is the point. We were well off the 80 points per 1000 yards gained gold standard. We should have scored over 400 points this year. Not scoring as we should have hurt us. While our defense did fail against MN, it was not a problem this year otherwise. Right now the problem is the offense.

That's on Garrett and the offensive players and perhaps the OL coach. I'm going to leave Wade out of that for the most part although ultimately he has to shoulder that burden.
