Sadly this information is not yet available for Mike Jenkins, Aqib Talib, or Reggie Smith, but if/when it gets listed then I'll post them with everyone else.
As of now the list covers Antoine Cason, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Leodis McKelvin and Tracy Porter.

# of times thrown at
1.
60 - Rodgers - Cromartie
2. 70 - McKelvin
3. 73 - Cason
4. 91 - Porter

# of passes completed against
1.
22 - Rodgers - Cromartie
2. 23 - Cason
3. 34 - McKelvin
4. 53 - Porter

Yards against
1.
258 - Cason
2. 262 - Rodgers - Cromartie
3. 407 - McKelvin
4. 679 - Porter

Yards Per Attempt
1.
3.53 - Cason
2. 3.47 - Rodgers - Cromartie
3. 5.81 - McKelvin
4. 7.46 - Porter

Yards Per Completion
1.
11.22 - Cason
2. 11.91 - Rodgers - Cromartie
3. 11.97 - McKelvin
4. 12.81 - Porter

% of Attempts Resulting in TDs
1.
0% - McKelvin (no TDs allowed)
2. 2.74% - Cason
3. 5.00% - Rodgers - Cromartie
4. 5.49% - Porter

% of Attempts Resulting in INTs
1.
6.85% - Cason
2. 4.40% - Porter
3. 3.33% - Rodgers - Cromartie
4. 2.86% - McKelvin

% of Attempts Where Resulting in Deflection or INT
1.
26.0% - Cason
2. 21.7% - Rodgers - Cromartie
3. 15.7% - McKelvin
4. 13.2% - Porter

Now, I cam up with a formula to combine all of this information into a score, and here are the rankings.

1. 88.1 - Antoine Cason
2. 79.3 - Leodis McKelvin
3. 77.5 - Dominque Rodgers - Cromartie
4. 59.7 - Tracy Porter

Now these scores are not an indication of a players potential, but rather an indication on their effectiveness last season in college, and presumably their readiness to contribute in the NFL. A couple of the notable statistics are the fact that McKelvin didn't allow a single TD catch and the increased rate of Plays on the Ball that Cason and Cromartie exhibited. Also, Porter is consistently last in the categories and is often significantly behind the others.

Interesting info, I really like both Cason and Cromartie in this draft class...McKelvin will be long gone before the Boys even get a sniff of him.
One question , do you ave any historical data (maybe the draft class of 07) to demonstrate how these numbers translate to the NFL?

That's great stuff. Interestingly, that's about how I had them ranked. Go figure.

*opinion subject to change on a weekly basis. ;)

BTW, what formula did you use?

I don't have it with me, it's on an external hard drive that I haven't found since I moved, but off the top of my head I do know that Leon Hall scored right around a 70 and Aaron Ross was about a 65. Now, something I forgot to mention is that I normally deduct points from a player if they came from a small school. So in reality McKelvin and Cromartie are both right there in the Leon Hall range, probably a little higher rated.

NFLDS seems to be going above and beyond last year's data. Or at least they're getting more consistent and scouting more players. Last year it was a bit random on who they'd chart and who they wouldn't. It was impossible for me to rank CBs last year because they didn't have the #s for them, but this year I should get a formula pretty similar to last year's for WRs.

Can't wait for the Combine!!

Yeah I agree 100%. I remember last year they had all the CB information for guys like Courtney Brown, but nothing for top prospects like Revis. It was weird and kind of frustrating. But like you said, they seem to be on top of things this year, and I really hope the get the info on the other top players.

Speaking of the WR rankings, I'm really looking forward to doing those again.

I wish we had two 2nd round picks.........if we did, I would definitely be happy to take DRC and Cason in the first round.....two awesome CB prospects in a definite area of need.....

i know...but what i meant was.....

1 - CB
1 - CB
2 - RB
2 - WR

This would be a rockin 1st Day....but we only have 3 picks instead of 4.

I really thought Porter would rank higher than what he did. Those stats are very revealing and good info to have. Thanks.

We could take both in the first round and that would still be awesome... Take Cason then DRC in the 1st... 2nd take Chris Johnson, Rice or Jones. Third takke Newberry the OT or Scmitt the FB....

I would have a nervous breakdown

1st the Giants win the Super Bowl

and then my top 4 corners gone before our 1st pick

Between Cason, Jenkins, McKelvin, or DRC, someone will be there.

I'm guessing either you think Talib will not be there or you're not real high on him. Which is it and could you possibly shed some light as to why you don't like him, if that's the case?

I'm curious as to what I might have over looked about him.
