Without a doubt Owens wanted to beat Philadelphia more than any team this year. It was personal. Interesting that in those 2 games he had his worst games of the year. Against each of the QBs that he through under the bus at his previous team's expense.

Yep, karma is a kick in the shorts.

I totally agree. It has to burn him mightily that the team lost both of these games. They both got one over on him.

He's earned the hatred IMO. Why run from it?

I don't deny his talent, but I wish he'd just shut up and pay us back the "one" he says he owes us. I'd like to collect that IOU.

Only the Cowboys could take a player like Owens and make him disappear in TWO Eagles games.

Yep.

I think that is the main reason.

Besides, what better team to scheme and plan for you than the one you use to play for?

Sadly, it may never happen for well documented reasons. Some of which I don't agree with.

-He needs to go.
-The offense should be dynamic enough to put him in position to make plays.
-We need not get our 10 million dollar receiver his first pass (which was caught and gained 5 YAC with 4 guys draped all over him) 27 minutes into the game.

I have a strange feeling he will be jettisoned and Parcells, along with that floozie Zimmer, will still be around. If that's the case welcome to the last 4 years yet again next year. TO wasn't around last year. We imploded in the exact same fashion last year. That tells me this isn't all about TO. We brought him in to be a difference make but tried to mold him into what our offense does instead of adding a few wrinkles to accent what he does best. Unbelieveable.

Yeah. They got over on him good. However, the bigger picture is they got over on us yet again. I'm just tired of this year in and year out. Perhaps all roads lead back to Jerry. Someone that exists above the player level has some answering to do at the end of this season.

Yeah... but if we get our "stuff" together and face them in playoffs... we can win the one the counts. The 2 regular season wins will be mere footnotes. The Eagles history is filled with inconsequential wins. It would just be more of that.

The key word in all of that is..."if."

Why would you be surprised that I understand the concept of karma? I'm quite well read you know.

Thanks.

Never seen the show nor heard of him.

He's a lameo former MTV host that got his own talk show. I'm still not sure how that happened. If he can get a talk so then surely there has to be somewhere on the Hollywood landscape for wittle ol me. (j/k of course) He sucks though.

I'm also wondering who superpunk was referring to. Perhaps it was me. I don't mind being the whipping boy.
