For those who remember Brownsugar, here's an update on her cuz. Really sad news. Looks like he's got the same issue as Irvin.

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports the chances of Green Bay Packers WR Terrence Murphy (spine) gaining medical clearance to resume his career in Green Bay don't appear good. He went on injured reserve after the fourth game when doctors discovered he had a narrow spinal canal.

Murphy and his family have talked to four or five neck specialists around the country trying to determine the level of risk if he returned to the game. The Packers would like to have an answer about his availability before the draft. Indications from sources familiar with the situation are that Murphy probably won't play again.

My thoughts are with him and the family and I hope it all works out the best for him...whatever that might be.

Best wishes for him and his family.
Was really hoping he was going to be a cowboy on draft day.

He really is a quality guy. I hope this doesn't keep him out of the sport.

I sure hope he gets clearance to play. He has blazing speed and should have a great career in the NFL if he is ok physically.

If not, I sure feel for family and friends. Yet it is better to know now and be able to walk away and live a happy productive life in some other profession.

I know his cuz on this board has to be very disappointed if he is unable to continue his football career. I hate for bad things to happen to anybody but especially to people I like and BS has always been one of my favorite posters.

I thought he was going to turn out to be a real player and a real draft value.

Too bad.
