no argument from me, its a shame Romo doesn't get recognized for his toughness

It's because he plays for Dallas. That brings tons of scrutiny and un warranted criticism from fans and media. If you switched Romo and Rodgers for their respective teams, Romo would be beloved in this league.

Well, for what it's worth, the Niners beat the Cardinals. Too bad Rams had Shaun Hill starting. :(

Disagree. It's because he is not Aaron Rodgers.

Let me be very clear. We do not play the Cardinals next week. No matter what happens today. That has been true since last week's games ended.

CORRECT...man there are some drinkers and non THINKERS in this thread. We are going to maul da Lions next week.

For me, the clincher was that he waited till there was a lull in the action to come out of the tunnel. He wanted all eyes on him and not the field. Rodgers is probably the most subtle jerk in the league.

He's the same guy that will scramble for a 1st down and start shooting imaginary guns in the air like he's the first one to ever do it. There isn't a doubt in my mind he wants to be the hero of this one to get some favor in the voting.

Give people a break. I didn't care to memorize all the scenarios. I'd rather wait until the end and find out who we play.

That's what you call home field advantage. That was as inconclusive as there could be.

It may be just me, but I think we're going to kick butt in the playoffs.

The Lions are still the same. Gifts in the mouth, and they can't take it.

Yeah that was cheesy. Timed it for perfect effect. That said he went out and won the game.

They can get the #1 seed if they win, or the #6 seed if they lose. They have a lot to play for. We'd get the #2 seed regardless of if we won or lost because we need Arizona and Seattle to both lose. The only meaning our game had was possibly getting the #1 seed on the off chance that the Packers/Lions game ends in a tie. This has been discussed many times this week.

Doesn't matter, play to win the game. Dallas had much to play for as well. My point is why risking injuries for Dallas brings it all this hate and GB gets a free pass.

Both teams played to win and didn't rest starters. Seems Rodgers gets love for any and everything he does.

Can't wait to smack them in two weeks

Huh? Dallas had nothing to play for unless this game ended in a tie. Risking injuries was meaningless and stupid today. GB was playing for a divisional championship and first round bye.

No Dallas winning gave them a chance at a bye as well as 8-0 on the road with momentum going in the playoffs

Who exactly hated Romo and praised Rodgers for playing today? Sure, Dallas fans wanted Romo to rest. And it's understandable since he's dealt with injuries this season. Not to mention, Murray has a broken hand and Martin has banged up ribs. This was essentially a bye week for us and we chose to play. The media didn't hate Romo and love Rodgers. The fans were concerned about not taking the much needed rest. Of course, there was the argument that we should play since we have so much momentum right now and we don't want to lose it. That's a valid point as well. Garrett decided to play the starters and they played well. It was a good call. We might have lost an important piece in Hitchens for the playoffs, but we also maintained momentum. So both sides were right. But, once again, I didn't hear anyone hating Romo and praising Rodgers. Where did you hear that?

I recall Tony getting beat up by the fans and the press for going to Cabo during a bye week, and now he's getting beat up for playing instead of taking the week off.
