That old fart Brett Favre I hear is pushing the franchise to make a blockbuster deal to get in key help. I heard some of that on ESPN tonight.
Going on the assumption that he does not mean a QB, maybe they need and want a wide receiver or RB.

Since there are so many JJ and T.O. haters here I thought you all might have some creative deals for the Packers. Example, T.O. for their first rounder.
Or JJ for a second or third.
Or both for their first and second this draft.

I don't see anybody on the Packers who could help us exceptin that young corner I forget his name.
C'mon, its the offseason.

We will give them Coakley and Coleman for their 1st and 4th rounders. And for the hell of it throw in T-Ham

I get a kick out of their seeming desparation over getting a marque wr. With Driver and Jennings, they're one team I actually see set at that position, especially with the younger Jennings who seems like the real deal after only 1 year- not to mention Driver was in the pro bowl. Just makes absolutely no sense. They should go after a TE if they want more receivers, Franks isn't getting any younger and it could help them on the oline to boot. Or a RB to replace Green.

I'll take AJ Hawk for Carpenter and our next 10 years 1st round picks. I mean, yea, we shouldn't do it, but that's about the value difference between our's and their last year 1st round LB picks. They took a stud and we took a guy that could've been had in the 2nd, if not 3rd round. And the sad part is, that was because of one of two reasons, either because Parcells simply just coached our guys dad, once upon a time, or because we were diluted into thinking that just because our guy played alongside Hawk that he was just as good. Man, wow, there are times we just suck. Something never pointed out better then when we're compared sidebyside with the Green Bay Packers.

I am kind of surprised that the Packers have not considered Corey Dillon at RB. I think I might sign him to hedge my bets against Lynch not being there at 16.
