Wagering the house for McFadden is a very bad idea. We have a proven back that will carry the load next year. Get another potential star RB later in the first or the 2nd (Kevin Smith?) and press on. We need some secondary help!!!

..I'd say absolutely not about Ricky Williams.

The reality is he's going to be cut in TC.

No way does BP look to let this guy carry the rock and have the team depend on him.

Just think about Hambrick in dreadlocks.

He's slower, takes a ton more hits going thru the line and Ricky still has fumble problems..one of his biggest weaknesses his whole career.

And if people are worried about PacMan and his character issues and a lifetime suspension possibility for another transgression..

..double it with Ricky Williams.

I can understand the arrogance of the writer for suggesting this trade for the #1's with us. Well documented. But adding Ricky Williams to any deal with MBIII as the horseflesh to do this..?

He needs to stop in here more often and let us help him get more creative if that's what he's after. We can do a lot better than this.

Shear fantasy stuff.

Now..if they would like to explore adding Jason Taylor into the trade and not Ricky Williams, then we can get serious. I could come up with a few other players we could add on our roster than BP can outright steal from us and do a Mega-Deal.

No problem.

PacMan Jones is a menace to society.

Ricky Williams simply couldn't stop smoking pot. The only vicitim in that crime is himself. He has never been in trouble with the law.

So, if you want to put character issues up for debate, Jones is many times worse than Ricky Williams.

Anyone that thinks MB3 is a workhorse back has more issuses then Ricky. See Signature for details.

Anyone who judges Barber off of one half also has more issues than Ricky. I'm sure you'd also be the Vikings fan saying Adrian Peterson is finished because in his last 4 games combined he only has 144 yards on 69 carries. (2.08 ypc)

Talk about a reporter who has nothing better to do. No matter how many times Jerry and Stephen Jones say we're not moving up to take McFadden it isn't going to die.

That's a shame.

true, hos; it is a shame.

...and who is ricky? ricky "the weed" williams? other than a good source what value does he add to such a deal?

2nd half plays for Barber only in playoff game as a starter.
01. 2 yards
02. 3 yards
03. 5 yards (His best of the half)
04. -2 yards
05. 3 yards
06. 3 yards
07. -1 yard
08. 2 yards
09. 4 yards
10. -1 yard

So he had 10 carries and not a one was over 5 yards actually 3 were for negative yards and 3 were for a weak 2 yards a carry. So in more then half of his second half carries he only had 2 yards. 2 yards in 6 carries? And that is our future? That is an every down back? HA

Your Sig sucks. He had a 10 yard carry in the 3rd quarter.

Besides the fact that ricky williams isn't really a character player, he is jsut plain done... he is injury prone as well on top of it all.

STOP TALKING ABOUT MCFADDEN IT ISN"T GOING TO HAPPEN. WE ARE NOT THE WASHINGTON Commanders. IF championships were won in march the Commanders (besides this offseason) would win every year by wasting cap space to move up in the draft or waste money on a big free agent. Sure Jones is a sooners fan and supporter but that doesnt mean that he is going to give away both draft picks in the first and another next year to get him.

Simply put, this team needs more cap flexibility and a CB/backup running back or WR more than it needs Mcfadden.

So what do you guys think? 22nd, 28th, Barber and Ayodele for 1st Overall and Ricky Williams? It is tempting... Anyway here is the full article.

Why would Dallas trade their 1st rounders when the have a first & third tender on MB3? So basically you have DAL trading their 2 firsts, and Ayodele for Ricky Williams  with no mention of the 3rd MIA would have to also give up to obtain Barber... I don't think so, Tim!!!
* I'm sure someone MUST have mentioned this point before but I neglected to read thru the post! *
