Parcells = Campo

When Parcelss took over for Campo, he inherited an above-average (but not great) defense, and a putrid offense led by the one of the league's worst offensive lines. In his 4 years here, Parcells has managed to tear down Campo's above-average (but not great) defense, and rebuild his 3-4 verasion of an above-average (but not great) defense. And on offense, he tore down Campo's putrid offense to build his own - cornerstrned by his rebuilt version of one of the league's worst offensive lines. Sorry, but Parcells is a fraud, and instead of speculating whether he'll retire, I'm beginning to hope he does.

He is a fraud and I can't wait for him to leave. In his defense, in his first year he did a good job with a mediocre team- I just don't think he's made the team much better and the coaching has gone down hill. He turned the team into a .500 team, so he improved it from Campo, but who cares if you are 5-11 or 9-7 you still ain't going anywhere.

right now...they are about the same...Campo was a bad coach on a bad team, we never got better

Parcells right now has vastly improved talent and we still arnt a "good" team

Which is why most of the defense is 1st and 2nd year players, including a rookie FS.

And why in a crucial divisional game tonight he went to Romo.

If you want to ignore the facts posted in my original post then that's on your ignorance. But if you read it again more closely, you'll see that I'm not arguing who's the better coach as much as I'm stating the fact that that Prcells has hardly made a dent in the overall makeup of the team since Campo left. Zimmer led the defense then and he's leading it now. Failures led the offense then and failures are still leading it now (with Parcells at the helm). FACTS!

He didn't allow the sacks, didn't drop that third down pass, didn't throw the interceptions, didn't give up the big play on defense......etc........
I'm more disappointed in the "No. 1" defense in the league than I'm disgusted with the offense!! We didn't stop anything tonight when it mattered, couldn't stop the run, gave up alot of passes for first downs.
I know, I know, we could talk all night about the offense's impunity. Disgusting in my opinion. But I count on the defense to take over the game.
The Giants defense took over the game instead...............
