First of all for the all the Parcells apologists yes i know im not a 2 time SB winning HC and a future HOF but u know this is just my opinion so yea...

okay ive been continually saying this the last couple of weeks that the whole coaching staff needs to go!!! Parcells first mistake was keeping Zimmer as his D-Coordinator when he had never coached a 3-4 D in his life. You gotta be retarted to do that. i dont know which coordinators were available back then when he was hired here with 3-4 expirience but jeez a coordinator with even a little bit of experience of coaching the 3-4 would have been better than Zimmer. so that was his first mistake and second which has been made clear until this season was not letting Payton control the offense when he was here by just letting him do his thing. Many of us blamed including me i admit made the mistake of blaming Payton for our crappy conservative offense but all along it was because of Parcells not letting him do his thing. i know our offense has been for the most real good this year but i cannot imagine how great it would under Payton with all the talent we have here. So those were his mistakes on the coaching staff.

Also one of his main strenghts a long time ago was he was able to place fear in his players and get them to play much better than they actually could but now NO one fears him and it all started with Antonio Bryant and well because of how much money players make now they could care less if the coach doesnt like them because they know they wont get cut or if they do they still get their good bonus and then probably get signed by another team. So a major strenght of parcells from way back then is no longer a strength at all.

Also his conservative BS also doesnt work anymore, Damn how many times has that cost us games the last 2 years. On both offense and defense... we have had so many chances to pull away but because of him games always stay close and then we would end up losing lots of games on a last second play. He is a solid coach but his style just doesnt work anymore because you gotta be aggressive to win in this league. You now here have the players complaining about our D and O like Glenn who is one of Parcells biggest supporters. So that shows a lot

I would love for us to after Ron Rivera the D-Coordinator of the Bears as our new HC or some other young D-coordinator with a lot of fire that would play to win instead of playing not to lose because even though i believe our D is lacking a bit of talent they still should be playing much better than they are!

Don't get me to preaching.

What about the draft? Parcells loves to show the world how smart he is by getting some scrubb out of plains peru and turning him into an all star, but Newsflash Parcells, you can't teach talent.

I've already gone over how he passed on a pretty good runner to pick up extra picks, and how he had the best passrusher sitting right in front of him, but decided to show the world (just like the texans did last year by passing on Bush/Young/Cutler/Leinart) show the world and the football nation that he was smarter.

You have to draft the best player at that position, period. Fasano will go down as one of the worst picks in Cowboys history. Did anyone in the scouting department know that Skyler Green was slow? How could they not know this?

Parcells waited far to long to employ his 3-4, waiting until the 3rd year to make the move, had Parcells fired Zimmerman and hired a 3-4 coach and traded those players back when he first got here, that were not 3-4 types, we'd be way ahead. And just like Parcells didn't let Payton run his offense, he's not letting Zimmer run his, even though I wouldn't let Zimmer run his either.

Parcells, please retire and go back to Jersey and allow someone with creativeness and a pair of (ba**s) coach this team. Jerry, you did the right thing by letting Parcells come here, now go get a younger more energetic, aggressive coach in here, and let him bring in his groceries also.
"munchies out", so is Clove.. ;)

I know this a free country...and I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their own opinion...but if I were king for a day...I WOULD BAN ANYONE that continues to defend the 2nd round pick used on Anthony Fasano. I have been banging this drum for a long time now. What is he? With a 2nd round pick at that position you better be top shelf at SOMETHING. He is not, never was, and NEVER will be.

I have no problems with the Ware over Merriman. I did have a slight problem passing over Kevin Jones and Stephen Jackson, but I understand WHY we did it. But passing over Marcus McNeil....or just drafting Fasano in the 2nd round in general....that move makes my skin crawl

Julius Jones over Steven Jackson - Bobby Craptener over Nick Mangold

Drafting Fasano, Spears, giving Henry 25 million on and on the man is a dope.

When Roy went on BDSS and compared Parcells to a Chihuahua that comes out from behind the the "beware of dog" sign, I knew we had problems. This Parcells is not the same Parcells that rolled down the hill in a fight with LT. He has lost his fight, his "killer instinct". He has become the folksy, story- telling, grandpa type.

Hey that's alright, he's a grandpa now and should enjoy the rest of his life. I think he should retire. I still think he leaves us with a talented club. Bring in the DC from Chicago, that guy is mean. This defense needs "the fear" in them, either from a psycho player like Haley or an aggressive fire-spitting coach.

They need to turn to the Dark Side. They just don't know the power of the Dark Side. If they turn, all the other teams in the NFL will pay for their own lack of vision.

Well, I'm starting to feel warm and fuzzy.

I've had a lot of lonely moments while criticizing Parcells for the past three years.:

And as I always say, I truly admired the guy when he was in NY...both with the Giants and Jets.

While we had coaches like Switzer, and Gailey and Campo I was always pining for Parcells.

But this isn't the same guy.

I gave up on him three years ago.

Im not sure. I dont know if I am ready to give up his Drafts and keeping guys in check (besides T.O.).

You know what is interesting though? That the writing may have been on the wall a while ago, somebody like myself may have not seen it.

I mean, ex-players calling him and telling him he needs to get his act together and be like the old parcells?

ex-players stalking the sidelines because they feel the need to re-motivate Parcells and get him to become his old self again?

The writing about Parcells may have been on the wall, but with all the information overload that goes on from week to week, these things just seemed like minute details, but more and more I am starting to take notice of them.

Hey, he's a better coach than Campo.

I've always loved that defense.

My toaster oven is a better coach than Campo.

To be fair, during the Campo years, we were in salary cap jail, and didn't have a #1 pick in two of the years he was here. Still I agree, he wasn't HC material.

Parcells has no excuse for this team to play like it has on defense. I still believe he has laid a good foundation for this team. I don't think we need to tear the whole thing down. We just need a change.

One could make a strong case that he's been a better GM than coach.
