First of all, I DO believe that Parcells is coming back. However, with all of the rumors heating up I have to wonder the following:

1. Is Parcells stalling until the Jets decide on Herm Edwards? (So he can become the GM of the Jets)

2. Is Parcells stalling until Matt Millen throws down the largest contract in NFL history for him to coach the Lions?

3. Is Parcells really being honest and just taking a few days to really decide if he has the energy to come back?

Where do you stand on this?

None of the above.

The sports media is another fabricating these stories to pump of their ratings and market share to give them that shot in the arm for the start of the New Year.

Millen would pay dearly for Parcells. That team is talented on offense but severely lacking in discipline. BP might help Harrington and the recievers play to their potential. Wouldn't suprise me to see the Lions play really well with BP as their coach and sneak into the playoffs. They have the talent but don't have the coaching or descipline.

Parcells is not a happy man. Does he have a friend in the world? He may just not return.

Yeah-in NE and NY, he had very good assistants he can confide in.

Here-it's obvious from the sidelines that he has NOONE to even saw a few words to.

Personally I hope Bill goes. I am just tired of him. Great coach in the 90's.

Lets bring in Bob Stoops!

I could maybe just maybe see him go to the Jets. Lions now that would make me kill myself. Parcells has so much built up here. We need different coaches and some leadership on D and O. We we're out coached on the 2nd meeting with the Skins. + our line sucks. We have a few kinks to fix. The Dallas Cowboys are a beta version right now.

I think (and hope) that BP returns for the 2006 season. I feel that he thinks that he has started the core for this team for years to come on the defensive side of the ball, but he sees that he's got unfinished biz on the other side of the ball.
