LONDON -- Dallas Cowboys cornerback Tyler Patmon suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee and could miss three-to-four weeks, according to a source.

Patmon is set for more exams after the team arrives in Dallas. He was hurt in the first half of Sunday's 31-17 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Cowboys will likely have to add a cornerback in his absence because they have only three on the active roster in Brandon Carr, Orlando Scandrick and Sterling Moore.

I'd take a look at free agent CB Terrell Thomas. He's been bitten pretty badly by the injury bug but was a good player when healthy.

I'd kick the tires and see if he has anything left.

Make that only "two on the active roster". Who is this Brandon Carr they speak of?

I remember Ogletree burning Terrell Thomas when we played the Gnats a couple years ago. If Tree can outmatch a CB, there's a solid chance that CB is complete garbage

Wonder if this means that Jakar Hamilton finally will be activated for gamedays since he can pitch in at corner?

That's why Jimmy used to say you could never have too many corners.

Especially now in a passing league.

Usually the smallest position on the field. Always relying on their speed/agility and typically gets nicked up easily.

Got to have good depth there.

Ours is depleting.

Speaking of CBs, did former Cowboy 7th rd pick and now Bears Terrance Mitchell play at all last night? He showed a little something in camp but got torched the last few games in preseason and was cut. That Bears' secondary was atrocious last night.

I would expect Pellerin to be called up the day before we play the Giants. I guess we will try to sneak some player onto the PS in his place for a week or two. Tough this time of year with all the injuries and teams looking for anything out there.

Crap. I really like Patmon a lot. His quickness and ball skills were a welcome addition. Oh well, he'll be back for the end of the season and for the post season if Dallas makes it.

Do you have any info as to why Patmon isn't getting more snaps? He only got like 2 yesterday.

Is Pellerin still on the practice squad?

I think he's better suited for Safety.

Practice Squad guys I would consider are:
Sheldon Price - 6-2/196 Age 23 Colts, Undrafted 2013
Ras-I Dowling - 6-1/210 Age 26 Raiders, 2011 2nd round pick out of Virginia
Kendall James - 5-11/180 Age 23 Vikings, 2014 6th round pick out of Maine

I think James could be a steal.
