Make that only "two on the active roster". Who is this Brandon Carr they speak of?

Brandon Carr is a former NFL cornerback that played for the Kansas City Chiefs and shortly for the Dallas Cowboys until early 2013.

Tough break but at least he'll be back in time for the playoffs if we're so fortunate. This kid apparently has a future with the Cowboys. We've needed a CB with ball skills seemingly forever. He looks able to supply that.

I also want to add that because of injuries like this, I really hope the NFL stops the London stuff. That field turf is atrocious for football.

Yeah it pains me that he hasn't thrived in this defensive scheme. I thought he came from a cover 2 type defense in KC.

He doesn't look right at all. Very inconsistent. And he doesn't hustle. I don't know how much longer he'll be here. Hopefully the last time we spend top dollar on a free agent that we didn't raise up our own.

Exactly! I want to draft and sign our own UDFAs going forward. I just hate Free Agency for a variety of reasons, but most of all because you are typically getting older players which may not fit into your scheme. There is always a reason that another team lets a player walk. Just doesn't always work out.

I know the ravens let a couple go this past week also, Chakee Brown and someone else. Brown has significant playing experience.

I was wrong about Brandon Carr. Thought he would be a lot better, or at least more consistent. I don't expect him to allow 0 catches all year with 30 picks, but just consistent performance. Scandrick isn't going to play all-universe every week but you know you're getting a good game out of him without worrying about it. I worry that at any moment Brandon Carr is going to fall off a cliff.

He fell off the cliff last season, just hanging on by the end of the rope. As I said earlier...former NFL cornerback...

I'd take a look at free agent CB Terrell Thomas. He's been bitten pretty badly by the injury bug but was a good player when healthy.

I'd kick the tires and see if he has anything left.

Tire kickers are good in the off season, but tend to over react in the 11th week of thr season. The Cosboys need to find a practice squad player in a hurru

He played pretty good at the start of the year, but it appeared to come apart against the Giants a little bit.
