The Dallas Cowboys will host Washington Commanders free agent running back Alfred Morris on Monday, but they are also working to schedule a visit next week with unrestricted free agent cornerback Patrick Robinson, according to sources.

Robinson will be the third cornerback the Cowboys have had visit Valley Ranch during free agency. They first brought in Philadelphia cornerback Nolan Carroll, but he ended up re-signing with the Eagles on a one-year deal with a base value of $2.36 million that could max out at $3 million. The Cowboys had Cincinnati cornerback Leon Hall in for a visit Wednesday, but he left without a deal.

New Orleans made Robinson a first-round pick in 2010 out of Florida State. He spent his first five seasons with the Saints before becoming an unrestricted free agent last offseason.

The Cowboys also had some interest in Robinson, 28, last offseason before he signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the San Diego Chargers. He played in every game for the Chargers and started 10, finishing with 49 tackles, eight pass breakups and one interception...

Clearly they feel they have a need at CB. At some point they'll have to stop pinching pennies and sign one. It's not like the CBs are signing for big $$$$.

You will rue the day when Ramsey is selected...rue the day...indeed..

Before you are sent to football hell you will confess with your own tongue that he is the one. And you will address me as Carsonthat11.

Rated 30 out of 111 he would be a good signing. Definitely an upgrade over Carr

Why are they waiting until Monday to bring these guys in and why let it out now? You give them two and a half full days to field offers and pull a Long on them. What's so important this weekend that the team can't do some work. Now any other team that was even thinking about Robinson and Morris has more than enough time to work out a deal. They should be coming in tonight!
