When the Pats sign him everyone here will lose their minds about how we lost out on a great FA.
If he was to sign here though those same people would be complaining that we brought in a loser and that we shouldn't have.

The Pats signed the guy I wanted to a very reasonable contract last off season...Jabaal Sheard.
While any player can of course get hurt at any time, the concern with Long is that he's missed a lot of games over the past two seasons. He may be ok as depth with the Pats, but not sure how he'd do if relied upon to start for the Cowboys...especially given the current situation at DE.
