The only thing I do not like about Manning is the big act he puts up before every snap of the ball. But the man is a great QB. He makes throws that are sweet. His accuracy on the long ball is very good.
Brady is a great QB to.
As far as Dynasty. Well I look at it as one that needed the refs to make it happen. The refs got them past the Raiders in one playoff game and let them get away with stuff way beyond PI against the Colts WRs in another game.
If those 2 games are called fairly then the Pats only have 1 Super Bowl.
I would never respect the Pats Super Bowl teams as much as any of the Cowboys Steelers Packers or 49er Super Bowl dynasty teams.
If you take a look at that game, the Colts corners were just as aggressive. Also, you have to realize that those corners were playing very aggressive and not doing anything other cornerbacks in the last couple of years at that time were not doing.
With this "offense" friendly calls like 5 Yards and no bump, they are really making it difficult for corners to be corners.
Regardless of what you say, every team has a little bit of luck along the way to realize a Super Bowl win.
If the Vikequeens were not born yesterday and dont make the Herschel Trade, how many Super Bowls do we win? Nobody cares about all that stuff. 50 Years from now, some Snot-Nosed kid posting on a message board and trying to learn about the NFL like we are now, will not get caught up in the trivial nonesense, they will just look and see Dallas won 3 Super Bowls in 4 and see how many the Patriots won.
The media has been on Manning's jock every since he joined the league and even more than Mr. Mike Vick. He never wins championship calibre games and usually puts up big numbers in the Playoffs against teams with no defense like the Chiefs. Tom Brady is the underdog, the red-headed stepchild that rarely gets the acolades from the media. I root for the underdog.
Again, records are made to be broken, I could care less how many Super Bowls the Patriots win, it doesnt concern me.
