Really liked Van Noy coming out of college, but he hasn't done much.

People always say its almost impossible to make mid season trades in the NFL yet the Patriots are able to do it all the time.

They don't say they are impossible. Actually people say mid-season trades are rare, which they are. Even more rare are mid-season trades for big name, big contract players.

Their GM/HC are actually interested in building a consistent contender and less so in attracting WWE or the latest pop singer to do a concert in their stadium

They understand that legacy, revenue and good PR are developed by winning

Maybe but to be fair to Jerry, it isn't just the Cowboys who rarely make in season trades. Philly is the only team in this division that is always looking to make deals.

I get not wanting to make a big splash but I am surprised more average pros aren't moved from teams out of the hunt to teams like Dallas.

Not every move has to be a super star to improve your team.
