40yrpatsfan,

Thank you for coming over and saying some good things about the Boys. As you can imagine, lots of hard feelings over that game but the better team won. I hope you are correct in your observations on our team. I think we have some growing up to do but hopefully, we'll get there.

Good knowledgeable fans are welcome on this board any time. I hope that my fellow Cowboy Fans will also give thanks where thanks are due.

Game well played.

Are you serious? Really? Let me get this straight, you want the Foreskins to kick the Pats butt? I'm I getting that right? If so, I'll never understand this type of thinking..

It was said tongue in cheek...understand that?

;)

yea, what gives. your D is supposed to suck. :)

Tell me about it! What's up with that?

It's why I have to laugh at another member whom I won't name, who claimed the Pats didn't play close to their best yesterday, while we did.:lmao2:

The Cowboys played very tough and NE feels fortunate to come out of that one with a win. I thought the home winning streak was over, and wasn't confident at all about a TD drive in the last 2 minutes given how hard the yardage was coming the whole 2nd half. Brady was great down the stretch, and Hernandez is really something - they were the difference.

Now having seen Dallas up close, this is a team that will compete for the NFC title in January. You have all the elements and now just need to put it together. In 2001, the Pats' 1st SB year, they started out 0-2 and 1-3 before getting it together and going on a run.

I think Garrett learned a lesson yesterday that you have to be more aggressive offensively with the game on the line against a good team. The offense is what wins and loses games in those situations - Cowboys had 2 great chances to put it away and played too cautiously. I think they won't make that mistake again.

Thanks. This site needs a little objective outside take on their team.

Do you find it easier to be magnanomous after a tough win like yesterday?

I know I do. Still can't do it! But it feels as if I could.:D

Home game. Although the Commanders don't have any home field advantage these days.

That TD pass by Brady was one of the best clutch passes I have ever seen. Kudos and best of luck all this year. I completely respect your team.

That pass/catch was deserving of a highlight. On the money as they say.

Once you grow up you will learn that you are a little slow.

It's OK man, you'll come back, you have the best QB in the division. /Deon

Thanks.

I know it was a joke but I have never been a fan of the guy. Gross should say it all.

if yesterdays game vs the eagles is any indication, it will be an away home gome

I can't stand when opposing fans think I want to hear from them after a game win or lose.

Enjoy your win. You're the better team. I knew that before the game. Now smell ya later.

I do remember somebody saying two weeks ago that we were 2-3 and you didn't even know it yet.

Well, now you know.

You are 47 ? haha.

I hate being the plucky little team that good teams pat on the head and say "ya played tough, kid. keep plugging away and maybe someday you can play with us."

Thanks, 40yrpatsfan. My take is pretty much the same as your own, but the perspective is appreciated. I'm pretty proud of the Cowboys' effort yesterday, too, and think it bodes well for later in the season.

Thanks for the encouraging words.

There is one problem with what you said though (the bold part). Those two words probably don't belong in a sentence together because that seems to be something Garrett is incapable of.
