The Patriots have reportedly shown interest in trading for Randy Moss.
Bill Belichick has long admired Moss and believes he could set him straight, ala Corey Dillon a few years back. More importantly, Moss would be a great value if the Patriots only had to give up a mid-round draft pick for him. The biggest factor working against Moss moving is a new deal: He'd have to take a paycut to leave Oakland. Mar. 5 - 9:41 am et

Have the Pats completely lost their collective minds this year???? Are they taking tips from Danny Snyder?

Bill Belichick just wants to be like Parcells and work with a troubled WR.

Moss is a quantum jump as a headache compared to Correy Dillon.

No kidding. Dillon was never as bad as he was portrayed in Cincy. He always played his guts out and never loafed like Moss. They are completely different cases.

Strange to say, but between offering a second for Wes Welker and now this, the Pats are looking a tad desperate.

Maybe they're just wondering if they can get Moss for something really low like a 3rd or 4th rounder.

i don't think moss will be the problem everybody says he is , if he were to sign with the pats.he will have a hof qb,coach and a flat out good team. plus all the cowboys fans are one to talk about him causing problems, when we have the biggest distraction in nfl history playing wr for us.

Nobody ever accused Dillion of not being a gamer but Randy Moss is known to take plays off and admitted doing so. Nothing pisses a coaching staff off more than a guy who doesn't give his all on the field EVERY play!

He may be the biggest distraction at least he plays every down. I will take a distraction over a blowhard that only wants to play when he plays on a good team. Take that and wipe your arse with it. :horse:

that's overblown about taking plays off, shoot he had Walter and brooks throwing to him, well they wasn't even throwing the ball moss way, if he goes to NE we would put up 90 catches 1500 yards 15 TDs easy

Belichick is letting the success get to his head if he thinks he can tame Moss

talk about a coach w/ a huge ego

As long as he doesn't bump a metermaid with his car. He is more of a cancer than TO ever will be. He quite on his team in Oakland, he has no heart and doesn't deserve to be on a football field. I for one, is glad we didn't draft this punk.

The thing about Moss and TO is that they are on the beginning of their declione from the summit of their prime and they need a Super Bowl ring to cement their egos and legacy. I think he would behave for a Super Bowl run just as TO will this year.

Adding moss would give them a serious threat at WR.

They don't need him to win so they could easily ditch on him midseason and still contend.
