I can't see it, but if Lynch did drop to #20, the Jets could likely be a trade partner for Dallas' reported move back into the 1st for a quarterback.

Maybe just me, but I don't see Lynch being taken at 20 as a "drop" at all.
I kind of expect him to go in the 15-25 range, but later still would be nbo surprise.
He's a very good 2 year project with big upside. I think those are usually 2nd round players.

If the Jets are not taking him then we don't need to trade to 20. We just need to get in there before 31 and the Broncos.

But no matter where we trade to its going to cost 34 and 67

You may just need to trade the 2 and the 4.

You may be right. I see his value being inflated - right or wrong - due to the current demand for quarterbacks and the top two being taken at the top of the draft. I think inevitably, the 'next guy' is going to be drafted earlier as a result.

He scares me because I don't think that this is the staff that can develop him.

I'd be ok with spending a 2 and 4 to get that 5th year option. The knock on him is that he's a project. Well he can sit here for at least 2 years behind Romo.

We'd still need a vet backup though. Not sold on Kellen Moore as the backup.

Exactly. I see Lynch around the late teens or early twenties but I always thought there was a decent chance he could drop to our pick at 34. Every year fans have about 70 players rated as first round picks, it would be hard to see Lynch dropping to 34. It would also be a major coup for Dallas if he did.

I like the fact there is still a chance to get Lynch, should be interesting to see. Talk of NO being interested who knows if Lynch will still be there but there is always hope

I don't want to give up our 2nd and 3rd rounder to move up a few in the first...nope, no thank you...too many hole...I love the idea of grabbing lynch if he somehow slides, but in general, I don't see him getting past NO and in that range

If the Jets draft him why not inquire for Petty's services? Hjs value would sink to the extent where we can maybe give away a 2017 7th rounder for him. I know some people on here were high on him. Just a thought.

We could get to 29 or 30 with our 2nd and 4th if ARI or CAR want to trade out

Broaddus claimed the Jets would 20 for 34 and 67.

Two defensive starters for a very long shot QB prospect. I am not sure I like it. I don't think Lynch is much better than the next tier of QB's.
