Our friend lives in the Seattle burbs and says they typically don't get much snow. That being said, I'm totally not surprised by the driving.

Areas that don't get snow annually seem to have alot of morons on the road when they do get it.

When we get snow around here the biggest hazard is the idiots in the 4x4's that think they can stop on a dime. :laugh2:

When I was stationed in Ft Polk they had a small ice storm one year.

They shut down the base because there were so many people that never have driven in snow or ice.

Heck I remember a guy when I was stationed in Korea, his family moved to the USA when he was about 2-3 years old. They were from Jamaica.

I can not remember where they lived in the USA but it was somewhere in the south as he had Never seen snow before.

He was like a little kid, even took him out in the snow to sleigh ride.

It was just funny to see someone playing in the snow like a little kid.
