We will never know whether or not Austin is worth resigning long term if we continue to limit his playing time. Signing Holt will do just that.

Signing Holt would be a huge mistake. Especially at 5 million per year.

according to ESPN news earlier today, Holt is scheduled to receiver a 1.5M bonus sometime this week, friday maybe? Espn news indicated that Holt will not receiver this bonus and will be released.

As far as the cowboys being interested, I have indicated in multiple threads that I believe the cowboys need a receiver who can run crisp routes and get open on intermediate passed. If you ask me, Holt would be a good stop gap receiver. I am all for it, however, I will not be too upset if we choose not to go after him.

Not sure Holt is an answer, but the way, Cowboys get WR's injured we may need 4 or 5 more to get through TC, and then let the chips fall where they may.

I don't think Austin will ever make more than 12 games in a season. He seems to be injured a lot too. Don't get me wrong, I love his skills.
