...after listening to Dungy on FNIA about the Woodson sack/fumble i went back and looked at the play...the same type of play that cost the Cowboys versus Denver...at the snap Crayton almost immediately turns back toward Romo and is looking for the ball...he must be the hot route on this play because Miles and Williams are vertical when Crayton turns back toward Romo...in Dungy's opinion Romo should've seen this pre-snap...

They were talking about Dungy's comments on the The Ticket this mourning.

Craig Miller said he believes Dungy doesn't like Romo based on these type of comments and says Flozell Adams is more to blame because he blocked the guy on the inside, instead of the defensive back coming off the edge.

Personally, I think they both have a point but there is just too much going on in the Quarterback's mind to have to constantly account for a Corner Blitz from his blind side.

Maybe Dungy should have payed attention to how Aikman broke it down post snap. The whole left side of the line blocked out, but Flozell checked inside, which resulted in a double team on the DLineman and a free rush for Woodson.

Dungy has said in previous weeks he doesnt like Romo.

Even said before the eagles game that he was just too relaxed 30 mins before kickoff. He wants a guy whose firey and a team motivator. Not someone laid back on the sidelines, said the laidback players coach.

Yep. Exposing Romo to a blindside hit. Pretty much for the day the Oline was man handled. Romo was sacked 5 time and hit over 11 times. Lucky he did not end up on the injury list.

It's an aggressive call by the D-Coor. and we lost on that one. It happens. Scandrick got home on the same play for us.

Too bad the stupid officials had that ticky tack call against Jenkins or we would've been up 7-0 at that point.

Old man Flozell ****ed up. Plain and simple. He didn't even look left. He decided to double team a guy and let someone blow right by him. Screw Dungy. By the way what the hell happened to his head? He looks like Gollum.

Then Dungy should of actually watched this game. Cause Romo was anything but "relaxed" in this one.

I think I have made my point pretty clear on what I think about Romo. But, Romo and his leadership, emotion is different this year, big time. He is getting this look in his eye, that I like and think all players should have. He had it again yesterday. Bradie and Ware had the same look as well. Now, if they could just stop all this high fiving and congrats to the other team BS after the game. I would be thrilled. It's not really the atta boys for the team that just beat ya, it's the smiles and such. But, that is just me. I know, I know, good sportsmanship and what not.

Dungy is just Dungy, a coach who rode a future HOF's back for a Super Bowl ring. Big deal. He is doing his job, he is blind as hell, but is doing his job.

Time to regroup and win the next two.

That's strange that Aikman said that since he always says the QB has to account for that guy.

you mean when the ref called hands to the face because that's exactly what Jenkins did?

The quarterback can't do everything. For goodness sake, he already has to tell half of the recivers where to line up before every play. Should he be able to take for granted the fact that the O-line can figure out when to block down and when not to.

Fact is, our team just isn't very smart, overall.

yes that was a hand to the face.

Not sure about the intelligence of several of our players.

Did you watch the game?

At first, that's what Aikman said. He thought it was on Romo.

But then they played it back iso'd on the left side of the line. Kosier and ?Witten? Both blocked outside. There were three rushers on that side. So Romo thought he had protection there because he had three blockers. BUT, Flozell for some reason blocked down on the DLineman, who Kosier already had - double-teaming him. Witten got the outside man, like he was supposed to, but Flo's misstep led to having noone on Woodson.

We had the perfect protection called, it should have been picked up and maybe we get a big play out of it, but that one's on Flo. Romo assumed his backside was covered because it should have been.

I don't really care if Romo missed him or saw him. My entire problem with that play is why we chose to pass the ball on 1st and goal @ the 1. An Extremely stupid call. It is the root of the problem with this offensive unit. Garrett has no idea how to coach Romo or how to call plays fir him to be successful through rough patches. When Romo is on that is a Touchdown or a do over, on off days, like Romo was clearly having yesterday, the pick is actually going to happen. Garrett will never recognize this and needs to go.

I said it was strange that Aikman said it, because he always says just the opposite.

I did miss Aikman explaining it. Glad you cleared that up.

It was Peyton Manning's offense that won him all those games.

I think Romo and Co. have been succeptable to a blitzing defensive back most of the year. Some of these blitzes were from the edge and a couple of them were delayed blitzes through the "B" gap.In the Carolina game Romo took a couple of good hits from defensive backs right as he threw the ball.

Tampa Game
1-10-TB 26 (11:49) 9-T.Romo sacked at TB 35 for -9 yards (20-R.Barber).

Denver Game
3-14-DAL 21 (10:18) (Shotgun) 9-T.Romo sacked at DAL 17 for -4 yards (23-R.Hill). FUMBLES (23-R.Hill) [23-R.Hill], RECOVERED by DEN-55-D.Williams at DAL 17. 55-D.Williams to DAL 9 for 8 yards (65-A.Gurode).

Atlanta Game
3-10-DAL 45 (12:33) (Shotgun) 9-T.Romo sacked at DAL 37 for -8 yards (28-T.DeCoud).

Philly Game
1-10-PHI 17 :)40) (Shotgun) 9-T.Romo sacked at PHI 21 for -4 yards (26-S.Jones).

Green Bay Game
3-3-GB 19 (11:01) (Shotgun) 9-T.Romo sacked at GB 20 for -1 yards (36-N.Collins

2-6-DAL 32 (11:52) (Shotgun) 9-T.Romo sacked at DAL 25 for -7 yards (21-C.Woodson). FUMBLES (21-C.Woodson), touched at DAL 20, RECOVERED by GB-52-C.Matthews at DAL 7. 52-C.Matthews pushed ob at DAL 3 for 4 yards (82-J.Witten).
