Day to day does not mean going from "we will see how the pain is" to having surgery. The day to day was a banana in the tailpipe that nobody really fell for.

You dont know what youre talking about. Im sorry.

I like Romo, I dread trying to replace him especially given "the final decision maker."

This is why you never ever pay age. $108 million to a soon to be 34 year old coming off 2 back surgeries.

Jerry outdoes himself yet again.

In Dallas, "day to day" basically means "we are being hopeful, but honestly he's done".

It happened with Ratliff and Spencer. They will probably will be playing the same idiot game with terminology next summer.

not surprised, the back injury is serious. romo needs to have a legitimate offseason workout program this year. as you get older and start developing back problems, you need to focus on your health/strength more than ever. i'm not saying he's fat, but there is room for improvement on how he takes care of his body in the offseason. he needs to slim down and tone up, just my 2 cents.

Thats not what "day to day" means in Dallas or anywhere. You are lost, man.
I believe it means that Romo didnt respond to the treatment as they had hoped he would.

Jason Garrett said he has spoken with Romo. He said Romo was "devastated." Garrett said Romo is scheduled to go home later today.

Romo threw 10 passes after suffering major back injury that required surgery. Thankfully he wasn't sacked and/or hit late in game. #Cowboys
Troy Aikman had same back surgery in June '93, was ready for season opener in September. So Romo should be fine for '14. #Cowboys

Brandon George ‏@DMN_George 2m
Jason Garrett described Tony Romo as devastated for having to undergo back surgery and not play in this crucial game.

Source: Romo surgery indicates neurological (not just 'pain') problem w disc press on nerve. Partial discetomy possible. #cowboys

The 'Boys who cried wolf.

And they effectively lose whatever credibility they had at one time.
