Strange...There is no mention of this on WashingtonPost.com If the Post reported it, I would think they would have it on their website. There is no mention of it on their lastest news link. All I could find is this:

Coach Joe's Press Conference
Been on the phone for about two hours since the end of Joe Gibbs's press conference.
People inside the organization were definitely thrown off by his noncommittal stance, but no one has seen any indication that he will actually leave.
Everyone I've spoken to thinks this is a bit of a negotiating process, and Joe doesn't want to say much until he gets something worked out with Daniel Snyder on an extension -- assuming they do get it worked out.
I believe they will. They will have to work out extension for the coaching staff as well if Gibbs gets one, and also address the scouts. They've done this before in short order -- 2005 -- and could well do it again.
The part about not committing to Jason Campbell was stunning to a lot of people in the organization who believe it will be a huge factor with Jason. "If I was Jason's agent, I'd be thinking about asking for a trade," one veteran said. Left some messages for Jason and have not heard back from him yet.
Perhaps if/when Gibbs does return as coach, he will speak more directly about the quarterback situation.
Maybe this all gets sorted out in the next 48 hours. My guess is Gibbs will get a salary bump next season and a two-year extension at about $7 million a year. Just my hunch for now based on all the calls I have made
