Geez... and to think, there was talk of us trading a 2nd for him a few years back.

Worth a look here now? Doubt it, but he could be considered a "reclamation project."

good thing parcells couldn't pull that one off. although at the time i'll have to admit i was interested but not for a 2nd. i never thought he'd fall this far.

at this point, no. jjones and mbarber can hold the load and if we get a 3rd back, we can't let any one back get any consistancy.

pass.

Yeah I remember when the Cowboys tried to trade for him and I'm glad that didn't work out. I believe Julius Jones will have an even better next year, Wade Phillips will go with him.

Might be worth a look if Tyson's slow to recover from his injury.

Does anyone know how he's doing btw?

Actually I was thinking of the polar opposite. I actually think that Julius may be on the market and a team like the Jets would trade a midround pick for him. Now if we accept that is another story.

Julius just seems like a player who can be replaced by MB3 or another RB in the draft.

TT is another player that makes me think Julius is expendable, but thats just me....I went from a Julius supporter after his rookie year to loving Mb3 after the Arizona and Seattle games last year.

Yeah, no doubt those running backs that are capable of producing 200 yard games are extremely expendable... Why don't we just save ourselves the trouble and cut his *** now?

I didnt say cut him, I just want someone who is dependable. Julius is an enigma...MB3 just outplayed him in the second half of the year. When was his last 200 yard game?

He had 194 Last year after the injury against Carolina. But still, for a player that had 24, 116, 26, 38 and 37 yards in his last 5 games of this year isnt a HOF'er. He has worn down on the home stretch each of the past 2 years save for the outing against the Panthers in 2005, IMO he is very far from being proven in the NFL.
