We don't care about their black unis. We've been wearing blue on Thanksgiving for years. First the throwbacks and now the traditional blues.

IIRC, it has to do with this new rule where throwback helmets have to be the same as the normals ones. Our throwback helmets are a completely different design than our normal ones. Green Bay, Chicago, and Pittsburgh just take off their decals for their throwback helmet.

Ultimately, it has something to do with maintaining some consistency in the helmets for head protection, but the link is nebulous IMO (as are most NFL rules).

They use the same helmets without the decals. The Cowboys used different helmets with the throwback. That's against league rules now.
