and romo, but that's just your lack of understanding the game of football and need to troll
Not hard to understand when a guy goes a decade with two measly victories in the playoffs, for whatever reason.

I remember many people on this board calling me every name in the book because I didn't wanna draft manziel. But those same fans forget about that, and swear they know the right decision to make for the team every time :lmao2:
Martin was the last of a group I wanted, but it worked out. Of the people I wanted who I thought would be around close to that pick in order was Beckham, Donald, Barr and Martin.

There was some arguing going on about Beckham with people and many wanted nothing to do with another WR. Guess that would have looked pretty good now though.

I really wanted Donald but he was gone, but I liked the Martin pick a lot. OBJ is a headache so meh.

I pay attention to the Senior Bowl a lot, Martin really got my attention there because he was the only guy who could block Donald.

There weren't enough people on this board supporting Manziel to use the word 'many'

I cannot think of many that wanted Manziel. I know I didn't. I wanted Donald and still do. But would still rather have Martin than Manziel.

I took so much crap for wanting Beckham. It was the LSU WR stuff, that you don't spend that high of a pick with Dez and the defense, the fact that we had Williams and yes, people wanting Manziel.
He may be a headcase, but he's an elite field stretching WR that the team was/is sorely missing and I didn't know how good Martin was going to actually be.

Yes I did. Glad I was wrong, but right about Romo.
I bought into the hype. I pictured him coming in like Joe Namath did.

And then we drafted a lineman! What the heck!?!? I don't follow college ball so I only want to draft the big names I read about online. A lineman? And we reached for him, too!

Lol

It's no wonder the Cowboys haven't called me to assist with the draft.

We had multiple defensive players before Martin, threee in fact, and Floyd before Frederick. The only reason we went Frederik was because Jerry overruled the last minute after Marinelli said they didn't want him.

We drafted Claiborne after Smith, giving up a lot. We basically had defense as our prime area of concern, because the excuse was that, per Garrett's own words, we needed TOs to give the offense more chances though as OC there was a clear deteriorating trend of red-zone production, meaning they weren't doing jack with the opportunities afforded them.

There was no plan to build OL outward in this organization, it just so happens Bill Callahan came to this organization though Dallas was trying to get Sparano back, but he took the job with the Jets which freed up Callahan and he totally changed the blocking scheme with his zone blocking scheme when we were man. And his first year here, he actually got Leary as, if I remember correctly, as an I drafted free agent or maybe in the sixth.

Callahans work here was impressive enough to give him the OC role over his appointed Golden Boy Garrett.

And Collins chose is out of everybody else.
