How in the world does this coaching staff not game-plan to undress this guy on at least every other play?

How could the WR lining up against Ralph not be wide open almost every play?

This guy was in the same position as every other person on this board one week ago today.

UUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHH!

and did ya happen to notice the 25 yard cushion he gave at times.

So, we come into the game with an $8.5 million WR vs a guy who was standing at a water cooler last week talking to other employees on his job...and we don't beat that advantage into the ground.

Unreal.

I put it on the coaching too. Every time we have a chance to exploit a team's weakness, our coaches act like they aren't aware of the opposition's limitations.

Madden always used to say, he'd run a play over and over until the other team proved they couldn't stop it.

We didn't even try to see if the other team could stop the play to begin with.

It's mind boggling. It really is.

Agreed. Seriously. We could have thrown it underhanded to our WR's with as much cushon as they were giving us. Hell, half the time they weren't even on my screen, and I have a BIG TV!

I was literally yelling at the damn screen.

Just throw a short hitch route out there. With Owens running ability, SOMETHING good was bound to happen.

They when they closed the cushion, go after them with longer routes.

I think the o-line was as much responsible for the missed passes and grounders as anything Seattle, Atlanta, the Iggles and the Saints D's did. Romo is still a first year quarterback and if they had done much in the way of gambling with Romo I do not think it would have dome more than put more pressure on a relatively inexperienced QB.

Troy and Roger had to learn the ropes and I think Tony can too. It would help if his 0-line was a little better at either run blocking or pass protecting. Always next year though.

Couldn't agree more.

Romo also seemed more uptight, missing some open guys, or under throwing them when they were open. Then when we did succeed, someone would fumble the ball away.

Parcells needs to go. He should have went for it on fourth down when they kicked that field goal in the third quarter.
