More craziness.

Reddick is a good player, but his rise has been crazy. He was literally a 2nd-3rd round type in January.

What makes it so hard to figure is that so many of these players are being taken anywhere from late 1st to late 2nd in the various mock drafts. It really wouldn't surprise me if we took a Jackson, Tankersley, Bowser, or Willis at 28. But it also wouldn't shock me if we took one of these players at 60.

Would be nice to get choose from
McDowell,
Harris,
Watt,
King
Ross
Jackson
(doubt we'll take with Peppers with a 1st now)

If they were all in the same tier (on the Cowboys board), you may even drop down a few slots with no repercussion's....still guaranteed to get one, plus add a 3rd or so.
If not, then take your guy!

I don't know if anyone saw the Sports Nation Mock Draft on ESPN tonight, but the uncertainness was definitely there. Todd Archer had the Cowboys take Taco Charlton, and Bill Polian absolutely destroyed him for it (said that he's not fast enough to play end in the Marinelli defense).

Corey Davis ended up going 30 to the Steelers. To me, I would rather have Davis than Charlton if it came down to it, as I think Davis is a far superior prospect. Who knows if it will be that strange when the actual draft happens?

This year is really going to bring the better scouting teams into the light.

Will it though? The class is rich enough, you would have to work pretty hard to screw it up. The good to decent should do fine. What will show is who is desperate.

Bill Polian..... the same Bill Polian who said no one who failed a drug test went on to have success in the NFL draft.

He's getting senile. He probably should be put down......... I mean, from ESPN.

This is the most uncertain draft I can remember. Not just the Cowboys but the entire league. I think the Cowboys will target Harris and just last week I thought he was going to be the pick but all the buzz now is he's going earlier than that.

Atlanta is looking to move ahead of us w/ Seattle....Sounds like a done deal if Harris is still on the board w/ Seattle's pick.

I'd give the biggest  ever. I'm prepared too. I put the TV on the ceiling to my left and I'll be wearing a choke collar.

With so many people saying this draft is ridiculously deep, and it's he best defensive draft In years, y'all know it's gonna suck when it's all said and done. Three years from now we will be laughing at what everyone said.

I still can't see all the DL talent that the pundits have been gushing over for the last few months. After Garrett, I see a good 3-4 DE (Thomas) and a pack of guys that look to be decent rotation guys for a 4-3. Most of the kids seem like they would be late 2nd round players in most drafts. I'm starting to hope a stud offensive player slips.

He has said some crazy things lately, but I agree with him about Charlton.

I think more players should attend the senior bowl, you do well and your draft stock will continue to rise .

Yeah, my comment wasn't meant more on the Charlton front so much as it was Polian is losing it....

As for Charlton.... I don't know. I honestly don't have a strong opinion on him one way or another. Its just kind of.... meh.

Not that I am sort of great evaluator by any means....
