I'm in love:

"Prescott, of course, has been a godsend. A DUI arrest in March (he was later cleared) pushed him down draft boards, and he’s been the best quarterback by far in the NFL preseason—whatever that means. His 137.8 rating and .780 accuracy rate have blown away the Cowboys. In some ways, he’s almost been too perfect. This story from training camp reflects that: In an 11-on-11 period late in practice, the offense had 10 seconds left to score, and Prescott was the quarterback with the first unit. He passed to Dez Bryant, and Bryant was supposed to out of bounds immediately so the clock would stop or go to the ground so the offense could call a timeout. But Bryant tried to score instead, was stopped, and the clock ran out. Prescott ran to him and said words to this effect: We know you’re the best receiver in the world and you MIGHT score, but we can’t take that chance. You gotta use your head and get the clock stopped. That’s a rookie, talking to Dez Bryant. And Bryant, to his credit acknowledged Prescott was right. Prescott grew a lot in the eyes of the starting offense, and the coaches, that day."

Do our damn coaches even do this?!?!?

Shows that Dez, too, is maturing.
I would love to see Dak and Dez bond away from the field, much like the Romo-Witten bromance.

Public Service Announcement: Jerry drafted Dak :D

On a serious note, wow! There are 10-year vets that wouldn't have the guts to lead an All-Pro receiver like that. I'm speechless.
I give Jerry full credit for drafting Dak. I don't care that he couldn't sleep because he wanted Lynch. Bottom line is, is Jerry is running the show and the FO drafted Dak. I'm usually not a Jerry the GM fan but if I blame the man for every poor personal decision than I got to blame him for every genius personal decision.

Good Job Jerry!!!!

I heard that Superman wears Dak Prescott pajamas.

One time Dak Prescott was on a mission in South America with Schartzenegger's A Team and he grabbed Apollo Creed by the ankle and said "I don't care who you are back in the world, you give our position away one more time and I'll bleed you".

"You gotta use your head"

I think we'd all like to see Dez do that. Phenomenal athlete who's cognitive faculties are suspect.

If that's what Dak said to Dez, we have a potential politician in the making.

Romo wouldn't of said squat if Dez did that to him. And you know it's true. Romo has put up with so much undisciplined crap over the last 10 years, Troy Aikman's head would've exploded(and I'm no fan of his) but no way he would've put up with what Romo's put up with. Romo just pouts and angrily rips at his chin strap.

Face it, Tony Romo is not a leader, he's a passer of the football. Dak Prescott is about to remind every Cowboy fan what a real field general looks like. It's been almost 20 years since we've had one in his prime, we've all hoodwinked by this fraud.

Romo was great in 2014 and other years. I got to be fare.
This again? It didn't take long for the Romo bashers to resurface, did it?

I didnt realize there was still people with that absurd opinion. When he was a young pup in the league, I get it. I didnt think it, but i get why people said it. But now ? I promise you, there isnt a person in that organization who thinks like you.

Dak already acting like Aikman.

We used to pine for the days Romo would step up his leadership game..

If he would just blow up, we could rat ways with Romo next season and start using the cap savings to build the D.

If he blew up as a rookie and started playing like a pro-bowler, the we got no less then four years of elite play, he'd arguably be our best pick in the modern era.

Now I want to see those qualities on the field.

I hope these idiots don't raise the bar to a Brady level.

Nobody has more confidence in Dak than me, but I don't need these idiots to jinx it.

Sports center: Stephen Jones says Prescott's the next tom Brady. TheN every gas bag will regurgitate it.

Cowboys officials, how about we creep up on em slowly, ambush style! We don't always have to telegraph our moves. Creep thru the back doh. In silence

The name was what appealed to me mostly. Well, that and he had @casmith07 seal of approval.

And I really didn't want Connor Cook or Hackenberg. They scream " if you squint your eyes hard enough and tilt your head like so, they totally look like NFL quarterbacks."

Dak had all of the tools, especially leadership/intangibles.

What I really liked, though, was his athletic skillset. He will force this coaching staff to do different things instead of just lining up and running the same stuff Romo runs.

The most impessive thing about Dak that I see is he's a field general. He already commands respect and the team will follow him.

no we just clap it up
How do the coaches get blamed for Dak stepping up in practice and telling Dez to get out of bounds? The coaches scream that kind of stuff till they're blue in the face, but we're supposed to believe the fans that have an agenda against coach/coaches that only the players run the asylum? Convenient to say the least.

Dak did his job! Plain and simple.
