That is supposed to be like lightening in a bottle? The NFL is a young man's game, but dominance is where it occurs. Stereotypes never were worth a damn...because they cheat people out of a right to try.

I'll just restate the initial comment by myself...

Age isn't the barrier...play is.

i wonder how many 50 year old men will make a final roster spot this season? Should be quite a few if age doesn't matter I would think. Both matter

Still....All this is assuming Prescott is the real deal. If he turns into fools gold (and I think this likely based on pre-season reports/gut feeling)...then passing on a franchise QB like Lynch is still gonna look dumb.

Wouldn't calling Lynch a franchise QB at this point qualify as "making an assumption"?

sometimes I wonder if you live in the real world. Show me a 40 year old RB. And of course there have been o linemen who have played quite well in their late 30's.

AGE always wins in the end.

Its aging that prevents the body from healing as fast as it did when it was younger. Its aging that makes the various parts of the body less able to withstand vigorous activity.

So claiming age is not the barrier is kind of DUMB.

For athletes it's age plus wear & tear.

RBs with limited carries could likely play into their mid thirties. On the other hand, Earl Campbell was done at age 29.

The visibility of a preppie smart *** is zero meters...but if you are looking for banging, try two doors down, Son.

it's okay we both know you won't find any 50 year olds except maybe competitive chess. I won't tell though. You get back to the watching the view now.

Question: What has Paxton Lynch done to earn the term "franchise QB"?

Followup Question: What has Lynch done that Prescott has not done to earn this label?

For the record, I don't believe either of them are right now.
