"Playing Dallas now and over the last three weeks is not the same prospect now that it was overy the rest of the season."

He said Dak has not played so abysmally that he needs to be benched, but very concerning was the low accurracy.

He said a huge problem was coaching and scheme and pointed to the low involvement of Dez as evidence of this. Targets to Dez are 2 of 14 in the team's two losses to the Giants.

Thought I would share since these thoughts echo a lot of posters here about limping into the playoffs.

Also echo's what several have posted about Dez... Especially in the last game. He was awful. Which of course dragged down Prescott's numbers.

His fundamentals broke down in this game. Bad hot reads, bad pocket presence, horrible footwork. Dez's route running was horrible. He mentally checked out of the game. 9 targets, 1 reception and a fumble aren't going to cut it.

This just shows his lack of understanding of football.

I would love to know what goes on inside our offensive huddle,,,,does Dez complain or check out if he does not get throws in the first quarter? Does Dak have the equity to tell him to shut up? Does this affect Dak in his head?

Dak's best half of the season was when Dez was out. Would love to know how much is on Dez and how much on Dak.

Yes, but King is suggesting that Dez's lack of involvement was due to poor coaching. Which is idiotic. Dez can suck all on his own. Again, the fact that he looked like the best WR in football when Romo was quarterbacking this team is a real testament to Romo, he can deal with all of Dez's idiotic BS and still make him look like an all-pro because of his accuracy and quick reaction time. This is NOT an indictment of Dak, I think most QBs would struggle getting the ball to Dez on a consistent basis. Romo is that good.

Everyone around the world knows something is wrong w this Dallas Team. Every single analysis, commentator, and pundit has spoken on it.

Hopefully we fix what needs fixn and win out!
Exactly. There has been something very off about the entire offense the last two weeks. Both in play and playcalling.

Agreed. I don't want Dez of the team or anything, but I find it interesting that Dak seemed to be at his best when Dez wasn't playing.

Also, where the hell has Beasley been the last couple of week?
Beasley is being schemed against by the defense. They know he's Dak's goto guy, so now the cowboy coaches need to scheme him open.

Not sure but it could be the outstanding defenses we played on the road. Both teams are desperately fighting for their divisions and the playoffs. Big Time environments and big time defenses.

Or like Peter King and Bob Sturm think, Scott Linehan and Jason Garrett are not smart men.

That, too. It was like he wanted no part of the game. Something isn't right with him, mentally.
Maybe the loss of his dad is really starting to sink in. Not making excuses for him, but the loss of someone so significant can be brutal and doesn't follow any sort of a timetable.

Teams are A gapping us like crazy and flooding the sideline coverages. You can tell teams aren't really respecting Dak's ability to hit the deep ball quick against the blitz and he's not really comfortable in the middle of the field either. 2013 teams just loaded up and Dallas was atrocious on 3rd down. Skins did it in 14 and the team adjusted with more checkdowns to Murray who feasted. People forget he caught 57 balls that year.
