The NFC had two 9 win teams in the championship last year, and now a 10 win team won't even make the playoffs?

Just seems like an odd prediction.

No way are the Giants going to win 12 games this year. They will lose a min of 3 in the East alone.

That’s pretty good. I like his AFC South standing. I believe the Cowboys need 11-5, or 3-2 record in December to win the division and playoffs. I agree with him 10-6 wont make it.

Packers in the Championship sounds right. They look elite.

a lot of people are expecting the NFC north to be better with Farve in Minny,Cutler in Chi-town and an improved Packers team. that's 3 possible playoff teams.

most likely Arizona or Seatlle maybe both will come out of the NFC west so that's 2 possible playoff teams.

ATL,Car, and NO from the NFC south. that's 3 more possible playoff teams.

NFC east has 4 possible playoff teams.

that's 12 possible playoff teams but only 6 will make it so 10 wins might not be enough when factoring in tiebreakers.

Not sure of the Bears love. We have a better D and better offensive weapons.

I think the NFC conference as a whole is a lot better than a year ago.

I think the North has actually jumped ahead of the NFC West just by the additions of Favre and Cutler.

Yea i think so. Have you seen them in the preseason? Rodgers looks sharp and that D is creating havoc. I know preseason means nothing and i could be completely fooled by it. But i have been very impressed by their entire team. I predict Dallas will play them in the Championship.

Three 10-win teams in one division. Seems pretty unlikely.

Houston winning the AFC South over Indy? Doubt it.

Didn't the Patriots miss the playoffs with a 10-6 record last year?

He'll be getting back to you sometime in mid October.

Seriously though, the defense has really got to start getting some takeaways.

I just don't see the Cowboys having a 10-6 season, unless they stay extremely healthy. This team does not have enough depth in critical areas on the ol and defensive secondary.

If the pack goes better than 8-8 I will be shocked, yes they have played lights out in Pre Season, but they have also been runing their D as if it was regular season while most other teams have been showing very little, add that with the fact it's their first year in the 34 and 8-8 is a good standing for them... Offense is their strong point this year but I have a feeling that Rogers will take a step backwards around mid season... but only time will tell...

Now as far as Da' Bears go, one player does not make a team a great team espically when that player is a QB with no really good or even decent receiver, yes he's got good TE's but cmon Hester as a #1 receiver, sure he's got speed but hands are questionable IMO...

Vikings if Favre stays healthy are the team to beat in the NFL...

Giants have decent run game but lack of receivers, D they are stacked, if they get past their injuries...

Eagles I still question their receivers, McNabb has been injured or benched each of the past 3 years, what will happen in weak 5 if he's messing up and they put Vick in? Sure they are all buddies now but McNabb doesn't take sitting to well... Westbrook is still banged up, rumors early in preseason had the injuries more sever than the Eagles were letting on. Then add in the passing of Jim Johnson will hurt the D, and the loss of Dawkins on top of that.
yes the new D cord is a Jhonson student, but he'll want to make his own mark on the D...

Top 3 teams in the NFC IMO are Vikings, Saints, and Cowboys in that order at this point, Saints if their O isn't able to score 28-35 a game could have a bad season unless their D really steps it up...

It's not like Peter has been wrong about Dallas predictions before.
