What does it mean as far as the roster and the depth chart is concerned?

I think it means that Columbo is healthy and starting to play like a first round draft pick. I think he is the starter on the right. Petiti playing left tackle in the scrimmage indicates to me that he is going to be the "swing" tackle and possibly Flo's replacement when Flo is gone. Fabini might be on the outside looking in. I think Parcells only keeps nine O-linemen. Adams, Rivera, Gurode, Kosier, Columbo, Petiti, Johnson for sure, and the battle for the two other spots is between Peterman, Proctor, and Fabini.

Peterman and Proctor are both just guards, but Kosier can play tackle as well. On the other hand, Fabini can play either tackle spot and Gurode can play guard.

The team has some flexibility on the Oline, and I think that allows them to just carry nine players there.

I think it means that Petti might be out his starting job, and Flo still needs time to recover, and its better if he gets practice against 2nd stringers rather than first stringers. We do want to have bledsoe's head on his shoulders come first week.

it means we don't have anybody at LT. flo is not back. he may even go on the PUP for the 1st 7 games.

how many times must this be said.

PUP is for the begging of TC only, not only can he not be put back on the list, but you cant add anyone to the PUP list after the start of TC.

And by all reports the injury isnt the problem, its flo's confidence in the kneee, and the fact that he hasnt played football since week 7.

Bill explained the reason, He plans on holding Flo out of the 1st pre-season game but in the meantime does not want to have Bledsoe killed out there so they will move Petitie to that side this week.

thanks for claryfing that. whatever it is, he's not the same guy he was prior to the injury. and will get drew bledsoe killed if he was to line up on week one vs. marcellous wiley (of all people).

wiley has long gone the jags, and i think with time Flo will begin to rtust his knee, and come close to the player he was before.

I think Parcells expects Flo to be ready to go week one of the season. Flo is missing the seattle pre-season game that is all. BP has not said anything about Flo not being ready or not showing improvment. He has shown some improvements as camp as moved on.

Flozell still has a ton of time to shake off the rust. We're still 5 weeks away from opening day.
