Also, hold you comments about PFF. If you don't like their methodology, don't open a thread referencing them.
It's not surprising that PFF's ratings are surprising. Because they're almost entirely useless ratings.
Good stuff man, thanks.
Some of it is surprising for sure... but the sample size is still small. The defense is looking good so far though, they just need to continue to improve and hold on until Lawrence gets back and keep their fingers crossed on Spencer.
This. The sample size is small.
Yes, there are some good things going on, but let's see where we're at after say 6 games or 8.

Yes, unfortunately that is true. It's not surprising that PFF's ratings are surprising. Because they're almost entirely useless ratings.
For most of the complainers, 8-8 should be seen as an accomplishment. Have heard all offseason long how we have no talent, terrible coaching, terrible schemes, etc which should equate to about 1-15. For having nothing to work with, would sure be surprising to not lose more than we win.
Wait, I thought we were lucky to be 8-8 last season, and the one before, etc.? That is the line I was given as to why JG is still around (great coaching 'allowed/enabled' 8-8; wouldn't have sniffed it otherwise?
Well, according to many here, we have the worst GM in the league and the worst talent in the league. If that is the case, then Garrett is working wonders.

Why should I hold my comments about pff? We're two games into the season and we are already talking stats? We need a couple more games to get a picture of this .500 team. Which is all we are at this point.
So before that, different reasons (8-8 x 3)? This is a weird standard to aspire to is all...
