OFFENS(IVE)E
Tyler Booker - 80.1 (67 snaps) - 82.0 run blocking grade, 86.0 pass blocking grade
Cedarian Lamb - 74.6 (59 snaps)
Cooper Beebe - 70.4 (67 snaps) - 63.0 run blocking grade, 85.5 pass blocking grade
Dak Prescott - 69.8 (67 snaps) - pressure was too much last night, throws lacked oomph
Javonte Williams - 66.9 (58 snaps) - 77.8 pass blocking grade, 28.7 passing game grade
Tyler Smith - 66.4 (67 snaps) - 68.7 run blocking grade, 57.7 pass blocking grade
George Pickens - 64.4 (61 snaps)
Tyler Guyton - 63.2 (67 snaps) - 60.7 run blocking grade, 61.9 pass blocking grade - Scooby Doo voice - huh?
Ryan Flournoy - 61.7 (45 snaps) - nice route for the touchdown
Terence Steele - 57.3 (48 snaps) - 46.2 run blocking grade, 66.6 pass blocking grade - have to call BS on this one - he was cheeks.
Luke Schoonmaker - 49.9 (13 snaps) - 51.5 run blocking grade, 74.5 pass blocking grade
KaVontae Turpin - 43.0 (13 snaps)
Jake Ferguson - 42.1 (60 snaps) - 56.7 run blocking grade, 46.4 pass blocking grade - fumble was a killer. His numbers this year are a product of volume, not great play.
Nathan Thomas - 34.8 (19 snaps) - 60.0 run blocking grade, 18.2 pass blocking grade - looked remarkably Steele like in pass protection

DEFENSE (there is none)
Donovan Ezeiruaku - 83.8 (51 snaps) - 80.0 run defense grade, 71.3 pass rush grade, 34.6 tackling grade
Osa Odighizuwa - 78.8 (51 snaps) - 76.9 run defense grade, 65.4 pass rush grade, 71.0 tackling grade
Jadaveon Clowney - 75.3 (38 snaps) - 72.8 run defense grade, 65.2 pass rush grade, 74.9 tackling grade
Kenny Clark - 74.5 (51 snaps) - 67.2 run defense grade, 63.9 pass rush grade, 71.4 tackling grade
Solomon Thomas - 66.6 (26 snaps) - 72.5 run defense grade, 58.4 pass rush grade, 68.8 tackling grade
Marshawn Kneeland - 64.3 (17 snaps) - 68.5 run defense grade, 53.0 pass rush grade, 69.2 tackling grade
Marist Liufau - 63.9 (11 snaps) - 62.1 run defense grade, 61.0 coverage grade
Juanyeh Thomas - 63.7 (62 snaps) - 77.0 run defense grade, 55.9 coverage grade, 29.8 tackling grade - he was like a fire hydrant in street football on the Wilson catch and run in the second half.
Caelen Carson - 63.4 (28 snaps) - 72.0 run defense grade, 58.1 coverage grade, 73.3 tackling grade
James Houston - 63.2 (17 snaps) - 68.6 run defense grade, 69.5 pass rush grade, 74.2 tackling grade
Reddy Steward - 61.1 (26 snaps) - 52.8 run defense grade, 56.2 coverage grade, 79.4 tackling grade
Kaiir Elam - 59.7 (41 snaps) - 66.5 run defense grade, 56.6 coverage grade, 32.8 tackling grade
Sam Williams - 57.4 (24 snaps) - 65.0 run defense grade, 50.2 pass rush grade
Jay Toia - 54.4 (20 snaps) - 50.7 run defense grade, 64.4 pass rush grade, 66.8 tackling grade
Kenneth Murray - 53.2 (67 snaps) - 46.4 run defense grade, 63.5 coverage grade, 60.0 tackling grade - will likely be a special teams player for the rest of the season - thank god.
Markquese Bell - 46.2 (65 snaps) - 67.7 run defense grade, 41.9 coverage grade, 62.8 tackling grade - makes Donovan Wilson look like a Pro Bowler
DaRon Bland - 41.9 (65 snaps) - 69.9 run defense grade, 36.6 coverage grade, 68.8 tackling grade - to my eye, the worst player on the field yesterday, including Terence Steele. Bland has been pretty poor this season.
Shemar James - 27.8 (58 snaps) - 29.9 run defense grade, 29.7 coverage grade, 47.9 tackling grade - consistently blocked or in the wrong gaps in the run game. Bad effort last night.

Good: Ezeiruaku looks like a long term piece.

Bad: Shemar James. His "fans" have no idea what they're looking at when watching a football game. He is good at blitzing straight down hill. He looks completely lost at every other phase of the game.

Most of those grades are higher than I would have thought. Rookie class had a decent game.

Once again the linebackers grade out awful.

Db and linebacker play are just killing this team. The dline played pretty damn good last night. But it doesn't matter when everyone behind them are playing like practice squad players.

Bland is so disappointing. The Cowboys should adopt an organizational rule about paying guys on one standout season.

would you guys have been happy if they traded 2 first round picks and tolbert for sauce?

James had a really bad game. This is by far his worse game, but he's young and can flashes at times.

But our LBs are literally the worst in the NFL. We need a real MIKE and we need Overshown healthy. If we get Wilson from the Cincy and Overshown back on the field, this defense will look a lot different.

I've just never seen such poor NFL LB play. Even when RBs are held up at the LOS for a second or 2, they break free for 9-15 yards because the LBs are engaged in trash and are not reading their keys. It's bad.

Sauce is prob worth it, but we need front 7 more than back end right now. We need to be able to either stop the run or defend the pass. We can't do either.

Dude couldn’t fill the correct hole with arrows pointing the way!

How can the defensive line have all those high grades when the Cards scored on 50% of their possessions?

Once Donovan Ezeiruaku work on tackling and getting guys to the ground he will elevate his play even more.

Our 2 best player were our 1st 2 draft picks this year. Good job McClay.
