Tapper's move on the sack was impressive and his closing speed was elite. He made it look easy. The other nice thing was that it came at a critical time making them settle for a field goal.

PLEASE realize I'm NOT comparing Tapper to Charles Haley....but he did RESEMBLE Haley's frame and quickness coming around the corner. We haven't had anything close to that since Charles left. We were hoping it would be Galloway, but well....it wasn't. If Tapper can stay healthy, I love his potential.

I sure hope so. What I remember most about Haley was he made big plays when the game was on the line a lot like Tapper last night. He would set the offensive lineman up all game and then use a counter move he hadn't shown before when the game was on the line.

Obviously need to see a bigger sample size but very promising. I really don't think Eli is an especially good QB anymore and the Giants barely have an OL, so let's see how they do against a stud like Trevor Siemian.

Side note -- anyone see what Carl Lawson did? I checked his stat line at Rotoworld and NFL.com and he doesn't show up at all. Seems to cast doubt on PFF's other analysis.

Brown is seemingly that guy who stinks in practice and preseason but shows up in real games. He was not getting rave reviews in camp and preseason games and then last night, it was like a different guy out there.
His camp wasn't bad.
