Tapper's move on the sack was impressive and his closing speed was elite. He made it look easy. The other nice thing was that it came at a critical time making them settle for a field goal.
PLEASE realize I'm NOT comparing Tapper to Charles Haley....but he did RESEMBLE Haley's frame and quickness coming around the corner. We haven't had anything close to that since Charles left. We were hoping it would be Galloway, but well....it wasn't. If Tapper can stay healthy, I love his potential.
So two more guys from last years draft class......that draft is becoming scary good. It was already great......they have essentially hit on every pick in that draft. That's unreal.
Didn't Gilmore get burned deep? And he's still on their list.
Ummmm... First ballot hall of famer Demarcus Ware would like a word with you.PLEASE realize I'm NOT comparing Tapper to Charles Haley....but he did RESEMBLE Haley's frame and quickness coming around the corner. We haven't had anything close to that since Charles left. We were hoping it would be Galloway, but well....it wasn't. If Tapper can stay healthy, I love his potential.
Hopefully, Tapper's sickle cell trait doesn't give him any problems next week in Denver. He's earned some of Mayowa's snaps.
Fwiw, Mayowa was robbed of a sack. Refs and replay officials dropped the ball
Didn't make much of a difference as they called a holding penalty anyway. 2nd and 14 versus 1st and 20.
His camp wasn't bad.Brown is seemingly that guy who stinks in practice and preseason but shows up in real games. He was not getting rave reviews in camp and preseason games and then last night, it was like a different guy out there.
