Gannon's not the only broadcaster who causes concern

In the wake of the brouhaha that erupted Friday regarding the desire of Raiders' exec John Herrera to build a moat around team headquarters in the hopes of keeping former Oakland quarterback Rich Gannon out, a league source has shared with us the name of another player-turned-broadcaster whose presence at pregame production meetings makes some teams nervous.
The player-turned-broadcaster in question is former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.
The concern comes from two different dynamics: Aikman's ties to the Cowboys and his very close connection with Chargers coach Norv Turner, who presented Aikman for enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Though there's never been any evidence that Aikman has shared with the Cowboys or with Turner nuggets that Aikman has obtained while meeting with players and coaches of the teams that play the Cowboys or the Chargers, the mere fact that Aikman has those connections is enough to make folks in the top-secret NFL community fret about what Aikman could do.
Meanwhile, we're hearing that the Lions have been talking to former CEO Matt Millen regarding stuff Millen is picking up from his work as both a college and pro football analyst at ESPN, with plans to do the exact opposite of whatever Millen recommends.
